Decorating Hotel Doors

My daughters dance team is staying at the All Star Sports and was told by some cheerleaders who had a competition there that the teams decorate their hotel doors. I had never heard of this before and wondered if anyone had seen this and what did they put on them?

I have seen cheerleaders decorate their doors at All Star Sports. They had handmade posters on the doors. That was about all. Some had trophys in the windows.
