Hi. Can you decorate your door on a cruise ship for your stay? Dd18 is going on the Disney Cruise with her aunt and two cousins, in Feb. Now are the doors metal or wood? I mite make another one for another family that it going too, for a surprize for them all.

The doors are metal. You can decorate if you use magnets. Absolutely NO tape.

I got the magnetic sheets that go through the printer at Walmart. I had a full size door sign for every day, and 1/4 signs for the special events of the day...like "formal night" and "Pirates in the Carribbean". It was fun, and made it easy to see our door. I also took a magnetic dry erase board for the inside of the door for messages to eachother. Good idea, but the magnets failed, and it ended up on the dresser for the trip...but at least I knew who was where....

We bring one of those dry erase boards that you can get to stay on the door with magnets. It is fun to see who leaves messages everyday. We also use it so we can leave little messages for each other.
