Decorate top down or bottom up?

Bottom to top, inside to outside.

Trust me, I had a home decorating business a couple of years ago where I decorated a bunch of trees, I found out there is a method to the madness if you just follow these rules: Bottom to top, inside to outside.

See OT we have a professional chiming in (thanks Snoopy!). YOU ARE WRONG!!!!!

Oh and starting with the angel or tree topper, that is sooooo wrong. The tree topper is placed after the lights but before the ornaments.

And when I do use my starry wirey garland, I go from bottom to top, as well.
