Decorate for Dax

Our town Washington, Illinois has a very special little boy named Dax who has cancer. He has been sent home to die with his family. Dax is 2 years old and loves Christmas lights. Our town began putting up Christmas lights the day after Halloween to show our support for him. Go to decoratefordax.com to see this amazing story. What a touching story and what a great thing for the town to do. We've started our Christmas decorating but not any outside lights. I think we need to put them up now. For Dax. Wow. Life is so precious.

I am touched. I will try to get at least some decorations up this weekend. I already posted a link on facebook to the website. Dax & his family will be in our prayers. My heart aches when I hear of sick children. Count your blessings & hug, kiss & tell your loved ones that you love them. You never know what life will throw at you.
