Hi all,
I have narrowed my quest down to two very different vacation rental options: one in Reunion and one in Windsor Hills.
What would you say are the plus and minuses of each community? The rental in Reunion is smaller and a condo rather than a house, the one in WH has its own pool.

Opinions?

Reunion is further away from Disney. We have stayed in a condo a couple times and a house with a private pool a few times and much perfer the house with pool. Reunion is about another 8 minutes south of WH. I guess it depends on your budget. I would assume that the Reunion condo is lower in price than the WH House. Will you be taking breaks from the park? If so, does traveling an extra 16 or so minutes matter to you?? :)

While we will be visiting the parks a couple evenings, our main purpose for being there is for the National Pie Championship at the Ramada in Celebration and we will be spending a lot of time in the accomodation we choose. Actually, the house is less expensive by about 150 bucks, but I think that is without pool heat.

I think I would go with the house just because it's closer. WH is fairly close to Celebration whereas Reunion isn't. I'd like the house also because of the private pool but Reunion does have more resort type activities.
If you put this address :6375 W Irlo Bronson Kissimmee, FL 34747 in the search section of this map this will show you where the Ramada is and then you can see where WH #1 and Reunion #21 are in comparison. It's actually by the I - 4 exchange a little to the left of where the marker shows.

If you get the pool heat, I'm guessing the costs are pretty similar.

I've stayed at WH, but not Reunion. Reunion is more of a "resort" than Windsor Hills, but WH has some very nice amenities. Reunion has some pretty good golf and a spa on site, a much more interesting pool complex, and a couple restaurants on site. WH is more like a neighborhood with a really really nice community clubhouse/pool area.

If you're really going to be focusing on the resort, Reunion might be a slightly better bet. But, it's hard to go wrong either way.

So do you all think pool heat is necessary the end of April? I would like to use the pool (if we go with the house)

Have you considered the WH condos. They are amazing and some overlook the huge heated pool with waterslide. I love renting there.:cool1:

End of April is sort of borderline. Might be okay to do without---check the forecast before you go to see what the daily highs are likely to be.
