After trying to workout for 6 months now what we were going to do for our second week in the USA in May, we have finally decided......drum roll
A week at Aulani so I still get my disney fix, even though its not at one of the parks. It still could include a quick 2 days at Anaheim so I might just get 1 day at Disneyland, but if not I am at least going to be on Disney property.
Its costing way more than we wanted to spend, but once DH gets an idea in his head then thats it. It means we have to change our qantas flight ($600 each to change it) and we will fly from hawaii to Sydney. It might work out cheaper to get a return flight from LA to hawaii and then fly home to Australia but DH does not like to fly at the best of times so he is willing to pay a bit extra so he misses out on extra flight time. I personally would have waited and done this as a separate holiday as sometimes you can pick up great flights to hawaii from sydney for around $700 each but DH has decided he would rather cruise more than fly, which could mean our next planned trip to WDW (which I keep putting off for new lands to open, at first I was waiting for Avatar land, now not sure if I should wait the few more years and do it with star wars land and toy story land) Of course disney is not out all together until then, we plan on doing disny hong kong in the next 18 months at the end of a cruise. But it might mean than we cruise over to the USA instead of flying.........I am fine with that, any holiday is a good holiday.
So if anyone has stayed there I would love some helpful hints. I have heaps of planning now to do so would appreciate any advice.
