Hello you wonderful people you! :)

My family of 6 just got back from a great disneyland vacation last week. While we live out of state, we have annual passes and so this was our 3rd trip since May of last year. (Went the end of May 2011, Thanksgiving 2011, and March 2012).

My hubby and I haven't been on a vacation without the kids for 13 years. And we've decided, that before our passes expire the end of May, to go ALONE on a final disney trip. :lovestruc

Our 17 year anniversary is on March 30th - but I really don't want to go over spring break and Easter.

We are totally flexible in our dates... we will probably spend 5 days in the park.

I'm looking at the first or second week of May. (Or maybe a combination of the two?)

I'm a little concerned about "grad nites"... I don't know what kind of crowds that draws... We for sure would like to be there at least a day on the weekend for Fantasmic! and/or fireworks.

I know it sounds petty...trying to decide between two weeks in May... but I'm wondering if any of you have suggestions or a preference of what week might be better. :)

I'm so excited I can hardly stand it! I hope I feel the same way as I drive away from my 4 kids while *I* go to disneyland! :rotfl:

Suggestions? Comments? :)

Thanks a million!

Heidi

You certainly could go before the 10th the first day of Grad Nites.

Grad Nites may be the days to visit. They get a park hopper, but that doesn't mean they can miss a full day of school. The party starts at 11pm, and this likely means park hours will go beyond 8pm as usual in May. In numbers they may be noticable but spread over the two parks they aren't enough to make things busy.

Thanks so much! :) I really had no idea what to expect with grad nite! That makes me feel better if, for some reason, we need to bump over into the 2nd week of May. :)

If the schedule was up, for park hours and which attractions will be on the referb list, it might make my week one or week two conflict much easier... lol

I appreciate your reply! :)

Hours will be the same, short offseason which is why the Grad Nites can help. Although I believe the 5th is the Aids Walk. This means no MM that morning, and a slightly later opening.

For rehabs Matterhorn and Goofy's Sky School are down the whole time. 7th to 10th Tiki Room is closed.

Again, thanks a million! :) I'm good with no Goofy's Sky School... and while I love Tiki Room, I can do without this time. :) :thumbsup2
