Well we decide to change from Wl to BWI.I hope that its the right move. After reading everything on here I believe that ther will be more at BWI for the teenages to do.Do you think that its ok for them to walk around the boardwalk at night without parents. They are 13 and 14 year old girls. What about community hall can they go there without parents.I'm probably worrying about nothing at all,but this will be my nieces first time at disney.I want to make sure that she has a great time.

Sounds like a good move. The girls will LOVE the BWI and the Boardwalk.
My daughter is only 8 so it's hard for me to advise about letting them go on their own. Personally, I feel I would NOT let them go off b/c of all the evils out there :sad2: but I just don't know...
Good luck and congrats on your switch! I love both resorts but I think the girls will prefer BWI princess: princess:
:wave2:

They will have a blast, particularly if you let them go off a bit on their own. It is safe, but I would probably have parameters like alowwing them a couple of hours or so, then they come back to the room to check in with you or meet at certain times. First time check in is not on time and privileges get revoked.

Another possibility if you are a bit nervous is to go to the pool with them , for instance, and get a chair WAY on the other side of the pool, maybe read a book and don't act like you are with them. They get a bit of freedom and you keep an eye out.

The pool at Boardwalk is very much a teen magnet and they probably will meet others there. That can be a great experience, particularly if they get to meet teens from other countries! On the other hand, that teen magnet includes teen boys and that may not be something you want to deal with at their age. I speak as a mother of boys (no longer a teen). DS and his friends loved the Boardwalk pool but almost always seemed to meet girls who cell phoned him throughout the rest of the trip.

Having stayed at both I will say you made the right choice. WL was nice but my heart ached when we visited the Boardwalk last summer and were not staying. I love the ambience. My daughter was 4 the first time we stayed there and she loved it! No place else for us anymore!! We will be there again in 5 short months.
