Decent Priceline Car Rental?

We adjusted our trip days and are planning on staying 10 days rather than 7, so I lost my amazing rate of $99 a week. I tried priceline on a whim, and got a midsize car for $11 a day 12/9 - 12/18. I have the option of upgrading to a fullsize for an extra $3 a day, but I think the midsize will be ok for my DS7 and DS3.

I'm strangely nervous about this because I didn't expect to have my bid accepted. Now I need to stop looking because I'll kick myself if a better deal comes out closer - though supposedly there is a low-price guarantee.

So, did I do ok? :confused3

I'd say you did OK. But do NOT keep looking!! I had a rate thru priceline last year that I thought was great, then drove myself crazy when I kept looking. I'd say $11 for a midsize is a great rate.

Thanks! The hardest part will definitely be the not looking. I'm used to booking and then rebooking our car rental multiple times.

Our plane is landing at 10:20 pm. Can you specify that you want a terminal in the airport and not offsite when you use Priceline?

I think you did good! I don't know where else you can get a rental car for $11 a day.

You cannot specify whether you want in-terminal or offsite. I had done a bit of research, and it seemed that since Hertz has moved onsite that this is what I would get. No guarantees, though.
