Hi!
We will be driving to WDW in May. We always have the worst luck with hotels on our way back home from WDW. For instance, on our way back last year we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Mobile and the floor was all wet like it had flooded and there were gnats all in the bathroom- EWWW!
Any recommendations for a decent place in Biloxi. I'd like to spend $60-$100 per night. Would like a clean place, preferably with inside corridors.
Thanks,
Erin

Is Biloxi even "open" yet? They got hit by Katrina worse than New Orleans did, I'm not even sure if there is much going on there these days? Anyone?

I have not stayed at any of the hotels in the Biloxi / Gulfport area since Katrina hit....so, I can't tell you what kind of condition any of the hotels are in at this point.

When we wanted to get away for a cheap weekend in that area, we would stay in Gulfport. There were many hotels right off I-10 on exit 34 where the interstate hits state highway 49 going north to Hattiesburg or south to Gulfport.

I have heard that the Imperial Palace is back up and running in Biloxi. If you are passing through on a weekday, it is usually cheap. A weekend will be more expensive. The web address for that hotel is:

The IP in Biloxi is a few miles from the interstate. You take another interstate "loop" down towards the beach. It's only about 5 minutes off the interstate.

We have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and the Hampton Inn on Hwy 49 in Gulfport pre-Katrina and both were clean hotels.

Someone from that area could probably help you a little better. I'm about 3 hours away from Gulfport / Biloxi.
