Any advice on planning an early December WDW vacation. We are staying at the GF for 4 days and then 4 days on the cruise. My main concerns are weather and the early hour that the parks close. Any suggestions on different things to do in the evenings. We are going to the MG Christmas party one evening, but haven't figured out the others yet.
Also, for those of you who have done the land and sea, what do you recommend doing on the last day at the resort? Should we go to the ship early- and, is so, what is there to do there once we get on? Or, should be visit one of the parks for a few hours before leaving for the ship?
We are thinking of going to Epcot one evening (since they are the only one open later, I believe) and eating at the Garden Grill (character dinner) - any comments?
