December Traffic?

We went to WDW in 2008 from Dec 27-Jan 2. It was our first trip. We were told by several CM that we had picked the single busiest time of the year to go. They said on New Years Eve, they closed the MK entrance at 11 AM due to capacity restrictions (80,000 people). With that said, we are going again this year Dec 10-17. How are the crowds during this week in comparison?
