December Room Rates 2002???? Holiday Season

Anyone who was at WDW over xmas break (holiday season) what was your room rate and where did you stay?? We are planning a week at the World before our cruise Jan 3 and would like to put it in the budget.

Disney posts all of their rates on their site. The 2003 rates are available. I don't think they offer many discount codes over that week as it is a very busy time.

We were there this past christmas. We were there 12/25 - 1/1/03 and we saved a lot of money by checking in the last day of the codes (12/25). We paid $207 a night for a garden view room at the polynesian. The price would have basically doubled if we waited until the 26th of December to check in. Hopefully there will be some codes to be had next December!

We used codes from Mousesavers and paid:

AKL- $179/savannah view 12/22-24; GF-$220/garden view (although we had a great view of the lagoon, cont., part of the MK), 12/24-12/29; Dolphin-$234/club level on the 17th floor (great view!), 12/29-1/2/03 (thru Dreams Unlimited).

We feel we got really great rates for this time of year. The code was for AP holders.

Thanks for the replys...I knew there were codes thru the 25th of Dec, just wondering if there was anything else, and thanks minniemom for the heads up on AP discounts. I did not realize there were any at that time. We can' t get ouuta town before Dec 27th (2004) so I hope something pops up.
