December room only discount - sold out for value

Could it be that the new room only discount for December is booked up for all 4 value resorts? I tried to look up my travel dates 12/15-12/20 and not one of the value resorts came up. now I know it is also free dining week but I would have hoped for 1 of the resorts to be open.

Yes that's the story... We are there 12/13-12/19 and we missed FD sort of, we could do a split stay but we didn't. I called on 7/21 at 7 am the morning after it was announced and they were sold out of all values in our dates??? The website had nothing available at all, I'm going to keep trying but I don't have much hope.

After trying on the Disney website for hours I read a bunch of posts on here about a sale Orbitz was having, I never booked through them before so I was a little nervous but after reading all the posts and their cancelation policy I decided to see what I could get. I was able to ASMO at 25%. I believe it was only a 48 hour sale though because I keep going back to check the other resorts and it looks like it is only 15%, which is still better than nothing through Disney. For 3 out of the 5 days it was $92 a day I was very happy and thanks to all the help from the people on this board.

I just booked POP for Dec 8th-10th and got the discount for $91 a night.

Looks like all of the values are coming up for 12/13 to 12/19 right now on Disney's website.

We got the room only discount for our days but had to change from Movies to Music. Movies standard rooms were sold out, we could have got a "free" upgraded room or save $120 and switch resorts, so were switching resorts but I will be checking back for any availability at Movies.
