I'm currently scheduled for a January cruise, but am thinking of a December cruise instead (work schedules). Which would you pick? It would be the beginning of December. I'm guessing the ship would be decorated for the holidays. January seems nice though because it's after the holidays and I could use the rest, lol. What do you think? (December is a few hundred dollars more.)

I would go for the December - the mood, CM's, and decorations that time of year are festive and unforgettable. Also, you get some additional benefits such as Mrs Claus reading to the children, as well as a special tree lighting ceremony

We have cruised in December the last three years and LOVE it. :) The only drawback is it makes the holiday season more hectic by taking a vacation in early/mid-December. But since my DD is in a year-round school and gets the whole month of December off we like to take advantage of the off-season sailing and the ship is beautiful then.
