Hi
what do us brits pack for december. I am more unsure about night temps do we need cardigan or coat gloves ect. I assume we will be ok with light clothing during the day but I have been reading conflicting reports on dec nights.I easily feel the cold so would like to be prepared.
can anyone advise .
thanks .kim.

Just pack very light & buy whatever you need. You are going to buy LOADS of clothes & whatever the weather, your cases are going to come back FULL!! p.s, temps vary greatly in Dec. & it can be very cold in short spells.

We were there last December and needed warmer clothes for the evening.
A light fleece is ideal, we wore fleeces every evening and it was sometimes necessary during the day.

I'd agree with Lynda...........we've done December............definitely a good idea to take a fleece with you, it can get a bit chilly.

We were there in December a couple of years ago and are going this december. We found Tshirt and jeans fine for the day with a jumper for evenings. Only one or two days were really chilly, we even got a couple of days in water parks when we hit a warm spell.

We were there Dec. 2000. For the first few days it was cold, we needed fleeces, sweatshirts, and somedays coats, during the day. After that it warmed up significantly and we were able to wear shorts and t-shirts during the day, just adding a sweatshirt at night. There were several days when it was warm enough to go swimming. I remember that the day we left it was 85 degrees. Whilst we were there it only rained once.

We are going again in Dec. this year so I am going to pack a variety of clothes for us, as we don't like spending time shopping when we are at WDW.

I'd suggest packing a little of everything! :teeth: Temperatures at that time of year can vary enormously from day to day and within the same day / night. You could find you have a whole two weeks of high temperatures or of chilly conditions, but you'll probably have some of each.
Just pack very light & buy whatever you need.
If you feel the cold easily, I wouldn't rely on this way of packing (sorry Eastender!) as, when we were there December / January 2000/01, there was a sudden very cold snap and the park shops sold out of warm hats and gloves! I think this was unusual, but I'd rather be prepared (must be the girl scout in me ;) ).
