December MaGiC or was it?!? TR starts Pg. 39

I have the Corel version of Photoshop Elements, but I REALLY want PE. I scrapbook, and I'd really like to learn to scrapbook digitally. I'm pretty sure I can do the same stuff with my Corel Photo Pro, but I haven't played with it yet. Most of the "guides" give directions for PE.

I will have to go check out your designs tonight. You're right about making the shirts being a lot cheaper!

They're cuter too! I scrapbook too! Are you sure we weren't seperated at birth?!:lmao: :rotfl2: Well, I have to go home now. "Work" is done for the day!

Let me know if you want something designed for anyone! I haven's printed or ironed any yet, but to buy a tee shirt and iron ons averages out to approx $6-$7 per shirt as opposed to $25+ at Disney! I'm also going to make the spiral head Mickey shirts!:cool1:

Thanks - I hate to bother you but since you like it so much - I'll be keeping an eye out for your new designs. I may ask you for a request - let me think what we might like.

I think that does look weird, but the ones that I have seen with the "real" castle with characters or something like that still looks neat. I couldn't find clip art of the rides, and Hunter REALLY wanted the Yeti on it so we'll see! I think it will print fine. Our printer prints out pictures very nicely so it should be the same. Kind of like how Disney photo pass inserts the characters.

Never thought that the printer would make the difference, but I see how it could. I have an Epson Photo Printer & I love it.

Thats kinda how I am with Microsoft Digital - I played with - done a few simple designs, like putting the names with the characters in the name...but nothing more. And I scrapbook too; I do it all digital but not nearly as fancy as some. I'm more of a plain & simple girl when it comes to that.

I don't have quite as much as the 2 of you in common but like I said above, I scrapbook too. I guess its time to go home & act tired. :rotfl:

I finally got over to hom depot to get the paint chips, I couldn't take them all at once so I went to 2 different ones to get what I needed. My son helped me glue them all on, It was fun and really didn't take very long. DS is very excited to cover up the numbers with the dark ones. I couldn't get enough black ones, so we got dark purple too. I wanted to post my countdown but I'm sot sure how to. or if I am allowed to yet. We used orange, green and red mickeys. Very Fall colory!! Again Thank You for such a great Idea!!! And So Cute!!

I'm picturing Home Depot keeping their Mickey head paint chips in a locked glass cabinet! Keep those crazy Disney mommies AWAY!:lmao:

I'm not sure what your post count needs to be, but upload your picture to a Photobucket account(free), then copy the IMG(?), and paste in your reply/post. Can you tell I'm not good with the computer terms?

You are quite welcome, I wish I could see it. I had to make a few trips to get the black ones too.

They may just start doing that. In fact I stopped by today & picked up some more black but poeple (you know, those non-Dis ones) were looking oddly at me or so it felt like so I got some cards of other samples too. Sorry for the run on sentence. I tend to get excited about anything Disney. I was telling DH today about your cool designs ;)

I just read your entire PTR and enjoyed it! You will love POFQ - we stayed there in May and I was very impressed. Definately exceeded my expectaions!

I just realized I haven't replied in a while, so I'm replying just because. :rotfl:

I :lmao: at your Home Depot story. I wish I'd known about that sooner. Although then I guess it wouldn't have been a surprise. Maybe next time...

Any new basket goodies? I was in Walmart today thinking "I know there was something else I wanted to look for" but I couldn't remember what it was. So I just gave up.

Kroger had Disney (Cars) WATER bottles. I mean like bottles of water. How cool is that? But I didn't get them. They didn't have the squirt cap, and I've already bought water with the squirt cap, so oh well.

The next 5 days need to go by quick. And then time needs to stop. Or go VERY slowly. I don't know how I'm going to make it through this week, so I REALLY don't know how you December :santa: people are going to make it!

It'll fly by! Actually it'll fly by for us December gals too! Sept is so busy for us, then I'm hosting a baby shower in Oct, having Hunter's bday (Halloween) party in Oct, Halloween, ect. Then I want to have all of my Christmas shopping, decorations, and wrapping done before we leave! 3 months is not enough time for us planners!!!!:lmao:

Absolutely right - it'll fly by.

For me, September holds a wedding & a night out to go to a haunted house. Then October holds a guy pal of ours, is having an adult white party for his birthday. In October we also have a weekend night I have to work (yes it already planned because its all night & you see where I work thats not normal), a local community festival, lots of Halloween happenings, DS1's birthday party & Halloween. November has, a few extra days off, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, DH's bday & then we are off. See how fast that went by?? And in between, I'll be planning DS2's 1st birthday party too since his is in December.

Oh & guess what I am?? Sleeeppppyyy. I was at the hospital ER with DS2 last night. Around 6 or so he started breathing realy strange & coughing weird. I called his doctor who advised me to go to the ER. We did but I almost changed my mind when I saw the amount of people there. But, the ER recognized it as a true emergency & saw us ASAP - he was having an asthma attack. I have never been around anyone w/asthma to know. But, my poor baby. They gave him a breathing treatment that hyped him up so much!! He was hopping like a frog at one point. He got so scared for the chest xray. Then about 1 1/2 after the treatment he was so sleepy. I had to stop & get him some medicine at Walgreens on the way home & he slept so good the rest of the night. I didn't of course, kept waking to check on him. We need to follow up today with his doctor, so I'll probably go to work for a while & try to bring him later in the day. I wish I could stay home & get some good sleep but I am taking someone's place at work who is on vacation & only I know her job.

Well, see you all later if I can.

Sorry to hear about your ER visit with DS2 - I'm sure that was scary but glad he is doing well. Hope you can get some rest!

Roxanne,
Even our kids have b-days close together? Mine are early Nov & Dec. So sorry about the ER visit. Those breathing issues are scarey. We had to take Hunter one time because of severe croupe. He was struggling to breath, and had blue lips!

We seem to find more in common as we go. It was very scary. Glad the worst is over

Tonight we get to cover up Mickey Head #80 :cool1: We actually have a whole row covered up so far. The countdown is so much fun.

I never got to tell you all but when I was out & about shopping this weekend, we got the boys Halloween costumes & DH's so all I need is mine. I also bought some new fall decorations. I can't wait to start putting it all up. Fall is my favoriate time of the year & puts me one step closer to Disney (I was about to say my Final Destination but that just didn't sound right  especially with it being our 1st plane ride)

So, for MVMCP, I was thinking about doing matching shirts but now I am leaning toward just red shirts, santa hats, jeans, we'll match & everyone will wear their ensemble over again.

So what is everyone going to be for halloween?

So what is everyone going to be for halloween?

Oh, I forgot to say. We're being Pirates pirate: We always all dress up (DH didn't some years but I always have) For DS1's 1st Halloween he was just born, but after that we were Raggady Ann & Andy, Woody & Jessie, Snow White & Dopey, then Vampires.

Are you counting on it being chilly at the party? I don't know what to plan for. I don't want to make sweatshirts, and then not be able to wear them, but if I make Christmas tee-shirts we won't wear them again. Winter here is not tee shirt weather!

It's usually cold enough for at least sweatshirts at night. I would make sweatshirts and layer them if you're worried about them being too hot. But I don't think they will be. We've always worn sweatshirts or sweaters. Even if it's "warm" during the day, it usually gets chilly at night.

Roxanne, you guys are going all out with the pirate theme this year, huh? Will was Jack Sparrow last year, but I have no idea what either of them will be this year. Christian might wear Will's old Simba costume, or maybe not. He might still be a baseball player. I'm glad I don't have to figure it out yet. :lmao:
