December MaGiC or was it?!? TR starts Pg. 39

I was starting to second guess a few of our ADRs - like CP, Kona, LeCellier, Ohana...ok, maybe all of them. So I asked DH to go over a few of the menus with me to decide. He'd frown at most menus but when I'd show him the pictures he liked it all. So, instead of making a mess of things - I am going to keep everything the way it is. I need to go with my 1st choice(s). I need to learn that in life generally. I always 2nd guess myself. The only ADR left to make is for Donalds Safari, which they still haven't started taking them for yet. I wonder how much longer it'll be...like golly - I'll be there in 69 days....Disney must not realize this - obviously.

I'd like to see if you could get ressies for Boma in Dec. I called for ours the 180 days out (of whatever it is) and still didn't get the exact time I wanted.

Roxanne, I'm sure people really appreciate you taking charge of the Photopass. People flaking out on it is the reason I'v been apprehensive! However, don't forget about us over here on the trip boards!

I've been second guessing too. Most our ADRs are buffets and all of them are character meals I have ine TS left and have been debating what to do, if I should add a "Table Service". But with the kids I still think we'll be better off with the buffet, besides my husband can EAT!!! We just have to resist and Leave it alone!!! Good Luck

Some people are very happy I've done it. I really hope the OP comes back. Some probably think I shouldn't have but the people who've joined since are very grateful. And Kimmy is, right?

I agree with kids buffets are better. For now DS1 will get his own meal & DS2doesn't eat enough yet but next year it'll probably be more buffets.

Yeah, instead of Restaurantasaurus, it'll be Safari. Its opening date was supposed to be mid November, I think. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Ok I have an ADR for breakfastasaurus, When I made it no one said anything about it moving, maybe it won't be moving until after our trip. We come home on the 7th. Where is Tusker House?

If they let you make an ADR, it must be moving after the 7th. Tusker house is in AK near Asia, I believe...Someone help me out here? We always ate there on previous trips. The food was good & 2 people could eat off 1 plate, easily. I am going to miss that place.

Thanks for the heads up! Ours are the same as of right now. Do you think they are expecting bigger crowds this December? I'm expecting the worst and hoping for the best! Will you really take advantage of the later hours? With small kids it really doesn't help us much! Megan can barely stay up past 8! You don't mind making a new itenerary right? What # are you on? I think I'm on itenereary #10!

Well, for us its looks like MK is closing earlier 1 night, later or the same some others - not big changes. I really don't plan on doing the late nights but its good to know they are there just in case. Would you believe I am still on itenerary #1 1/2 maybe Really, I've kept the same one, just made a few adjustments to it. DS1 probably could handle the late nights but not DS2. His bedtime is 7:30!!! I really need to go over it & see what if any changes I want to make. Right now I'm on Oriental Trading looking for some birthday party supplies.

I think one of your AK nights is extended too.. I've been searching on Birthday Direct. They are cheaper than some of the party web sites, and they have cool Disney party favors that I'm going to get for the kids. Disney pez despensers, tatoos, pencils, bubbles, souvenir cups.

Never run out of Disney things to talk about. DS2 will not allow me to be night owl on here. He is in the Mommy stage. If I am out his siight -look out. Will not allow his Daddy to put him to sleep. DS1 had homework last night & we had to people come visit.

Something I didin't get to tell you guys was, a while back I talked about waking up & my face being swollen - they said it was an abcess. Well, I developed one on my hip & it was painful - they said it was staph infection & cut it out Monday. Last night I had to remove the packing & OUCH!!

I've been trying to put up the last of the fall decorations - a few garlands. I've ordered DS1's party stuff. I've been attempting to do a big fall cleaning. But I really need to get back to Disney planning soon. I promise, I will.

Yuck on the staph infection! My DH had one last spring, and ended up in the hospital for 3 days! He was in alot of pain, and they kept having to drain it! He just had another one in his knee, but just took antibiotics this time.

I guess your busy life is allowed to get in the way of Disney talk every once in awhile! Don't let it happen too much!

Sorry to hear about the staph infections - sounds painful! Glad you are doing better.

We are going to put our fall decorations up on Saturday - after the house gets clean!

I've been wanting to do some "fall cleaning" too. Was thinking about starting a thread about it - post a picture of your room/closet/area before the cleaning and then after. Maybe a little accountablility would help me get it done!
