December MaGiC or was it?!? TR starts Pg. 39

44 days to go:woohoo:
I got shirts for the kids for 1.24 each (target) and in this weeks sunday ad michaels has t-shirts 5/$10. So I think I'm going to make some matching shirts. I have been collecting some cool designs......... uh oh more decisions :headache:..... There are so many talented people on here and SO MANY awesome designs it will be hard to choose. I'm definetly making tote bags for MNSSHP. So I can use a few of the designs on that. FUN FUN!! I gotta stop looking around here, soon I will be planning my next trip before I even go on this one :rotfl: I'm sure that has never happened to anyone else before :rotfl2: Time is going so fast!!!! I gotta get some sleep.... Night :wave2:

Hey hot momma!! I love the hair. I know I haven't seen you before but it just looks so natural on you!!

I love your shirt too! I went to our Walmart and they had nuttin! This just means I will have to buy them at DISNEY!!

Cute hair. Cute shirts. Isn't it funny how we stress over something (how we look) when others can't even tell!?

I need a haircut too. I know it's time when I pull my hair back every day!

I know, I was stressing & it looks okay. Thanks - you all are too sweet. :flower:

I love the hair. Are you getting used to it? Love the shirts too - especially the Grumpy one. What a steal!

I got my haircut Friday and its shorter than its ever been. But I think I like it. I had a converstion with my hairdresser about Disney:

Him: So, any vacation plans coming up?

Me: Yes, we're goint to Disney in October!

Him: Oh, guess you have to do that if you have kids.

Me: What??? :confused3 I'd go with/without kids or even by myself.

Him: Well, they do have that cool Superman ride at one of the parks.

Some people have no clue! :)

I am getting used to it. Hell yeah, we went w/o kids for sure. Um...yeah, that cool Superman ride :rotfl2: I gotta remember to ride that one :lmao:

It would be the best planned Disney trip ever with all of us SUPER planners in charge! I would love a girls only trip to "the world"! One of the shirts that I am making for me for our trip says "What happens in Disney, stays in Disney". I love it. I got it from another designer. I can't remember who, but it's 3 Minnie heads with her hands doing the "hear no evil, see not evil..." sign. Very cute!

That would be some trip!! We might would butt heads a few times but we'd have a heck of a plan!!

I love the hair, Lady you are gooooorgeous! all the shirts are so cute, my favorite is the Grumpy 37.

Awww...thanks. I wore the Grumpy 37 one yesterday.

$1.24 is a great deal - what they look like - I love deals. I don't get the Michaels paper anymore for some reason. I'll have to go check that out. I went to the new Hobby Lobby here that just opened - they seem to have better prices but I didn't look for shirts. I was fall decoration shopping. There are so many wonderful designs floating around here. Many talented people. Girl, I asked DH the day about which hotel should we stay at next year. I don't know why he gave me a strange look. :confused3

I really am liking it more & have gotten so many compliments. I think its a keeper :) Our Walmart seems to be marking down new stuff daily. I am so glad I got in on those shirts. They aren't for Disney - but I may end up wearing some there. They are kinda thin & I like to bring something that is alittle thicker than that in December. But  I bet they'd dry fast after Kali....

Hi guys, its gonna be quite a day. DS1 not feeling, have to bring DS2 for some allergy testing (don't remember if I told you all but last Sunday we were at the ER with him having an asthma attack) Got a few errands to do either then or after work tonight. Yes, I still do intend on going to work after it all.

So, let me tell you about this little impulse buy. Yesterday, on my lunch hour, I returned a few of the fall decorations I got that didn't look good at home. I also bought a few other things, a new scarecrow, a few more pumpkins thingys that I had got already but decided more would look good. Anyways, the point, I went to the $1 tree to get another pack of invitations for DS2's birthday party (I originally was letting him invite a few classmates but how can a 5 year old pick who he should invite...so I am letting him invite them all - I am sure they all will not come) while there, I saw some pooh & friends sidewalk chalk, pooh, piglet, tigger & eyeore heads that are chalk. 4 for $1, so I bought it thinking I'd put it in their baskets. My intentions were that they could occupy themselves while waiting for parades, etc. Then I thought again & said, this is Disney, they probably won't be able to do that. Then I thought maybe at the resort? :confused3 No biggy, it was only a buck, they could play with it at home if nothing else.

Now that's dedication!!

so I am letting him invite them all - I am sure they all will not come)
You really think that??? I loved it when my kids got invited to b-day parties. Go buy a gift and get a sitter for a couple hours!!! Woohoo, it was "me" time!!
How many kids are you inviting and how many don't you think will show up?? Better get some reinforcement just in case!!!!!

He has 20 kids in his class not counting him. Last year when he was invited, he'd go & maybe 1 other kid. When he was in daycare only 1 showed up. We of course still have a few cousins & friends not in school with him to invite too.

You're in the same predicament as us. October comes and its birthday partys, gifts, Halloween, Christmas. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$Cha Ching, Cha Ching! How old will he be? 6? What are you getting him? I need ideas for Hunter!

For borthdays I really don't do anything big. What I do is throw a big party - I really go all out. I'll have to see if I have any pics from previous years lying around. I figure down the road, he won't remember what his gift was for his 5th birthday but will remember the cool farm animal party we had. :thumbsup2

I got Hunter Safari Rush Hour for his bday (early Nov). That way he can play w/ it on our drive to Disney. I'm starting to think about Christmas. Last year for his 5th I had a reptile guy come to our house! Snakes, alligator, tarantula, and a hissing cockroach IN MY HOUSE!!!   He will NEVER forget it! I'll have to post a picture.

Okay, I have to say none of our parties ever involved those creatures in my house!!! But, I'll let you in an a secret - where I live - those things are practically in my backyard!! Ugh,,,make me shiver just thinking about that. I'd be so worried after the guy left that one escaped.

I had one birthday party for my son, he was 7, when it was over he said he didn't like birthday parties and never wanted to have another, and that was it. We usually now just go out to his favorite restaraunt. Reese on the other hand loves parties, for her 12th birthday the theme was "Red Carpet" for 2 months she and 2 of her friends worked on a movie, it was about a haunted house, they had halloween props and scary music and noises, it ended up being an hour long. Then at her Birthday/slumber party she showed it to all of her friends, it was a big hit. Another year it was a night club theme, that set up was awesome thanks to DH. He threw glow in the dark paint all over black tarps, then covered our walls and windows with the tarps, he had a disco ball and flouresent lighting, then he made a big sign that said "pink" (the name of her night club) and my son was the Dj. That was for her 13th and it was a co-ed party.

What are you going to do if all 20 kids decide they can make it, along with the cousins and friends?

Nothing escaped, but the alligator did pee on my brand new carpet!!!

Sounds like a future career in party planning! I am impressed!

OMG! That is too funny! (Not at the time I guess..) :rotfl: Since you have so many weird quirks :lmao: did you touch any of the creatures that were brought to your house?

Actually snakes don't bother me(much). However, the hissing coackroaches gave me the CREEPS!!!

Roxanne, I always laugh to see what time you post in the morning. When do you sleep? Are you an early bird by choice or are your kids up that early?

I am an early bird by choice. Kids are still sleeping when I'm on here. DS1 wakes about 6:30. Still early actually. He takes that long to be ready for the bus at 7:45. DS2 wakes a little later, around 7 - 7:15. but DH leaves the house at 5:20 & kisses me before he leaves & I can't usually go back to sleep after.

Yuck - how did you get the smell out? I assume it smelled?
:confused3

I just left it. It adds character to the room!:rotfl2: Just kidding! I clean carpets with Oxy clean, but I didn't notice a smell. This was in our playroom that we had literally finished, and had carpeted the day before the party! The carpet wasn't even 24 hrs old!

Where are you today?

I'm here. Been busy on the Photopass Thread, it seems as though the Diser that started it is MIA - no one has heard from her & lots of people was wanting to join so I took charge.
