DECEMBER Hours Are UP

The hours are posted on Disney Web site for December. I don't see Magic hours yet But I was thrilled to see that there will be a Holiday Wishes on Party nights.

Are you guys flying our driving? We had been flying SW (we were going to drive to Jackson), but now Delta has a direct flight once a day out of Baton Rouge. I am so excited about not having to drive out of town to catch a direct flight! We will probably pass each other around the WL. Are ya'll doing any of the holiday extras? We are doing MVMCP on the 15th and 20th, and the Candlelight Processional on the 16th. The holidays are my favorite time of the year and now I get to be at my favorite place on Earth for holiday time!

I'm a newbie here at the DIS, but a lurker for quite a while. We are going to be at Disney Dec 9-15. My question is....are the weekend days at MK horrible even though it is the "off" season? I'd really like to go when the hours are longer, but don't want to have to fight any crowds because of it. Do you think we can do everything by 8:00 at night if we go on Mon or Wed? We only have one day available to go to a park, (other than MVMCP) and want to make the best of the time we have. Thanks!

Thanks for the heads up! I only had one minor tweak to the schedule with that bit of info. I had not planned on the parade at AK being so late. So, our time to hop over to Epcot was delayed by an hour to allow for us to catch the parade and in doing so, I had to change our Epcot tree lighting ceremony to the last day of the trip. But, it's all good!

Now, I am just waiting to see what the EMH schedule looks like. Maggie

My experience, during the first two weeks of December, is that MK is much more crowded on the weekends. I would go either Monday or Wednesday, which ever one does NOT have EMH hours.

But wow 6pm close time for MK! I am glad I went and got 2 night for the MVMCP !!! Should be ok now.

As of this morning EMH hours are still not posted. Waiting .Will check again this afternoon on lunch break. Still am happy with 8PM on non party nights and 8PM for Studios this gives you time to see Osbourn lights without rushing after Fantasmic. Still hoping for extra evening hours at Studio.

It says Calendar and then you go to the park you want- and then click on the day, parades and fireworks schedules come up!

is messed up. It says December 1st is Wednesday, but it should be Thursday.

The hours schedule is correct.

Help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I must obsessively continue to plan !
