Starting to worry whether I'll make my goal this month :)

:) Just wanted to let you know I have not completely flown the coop. We are traveling, but I am hoping to get a few minutes to update over the next day or so. Hope everyone is doing well!

I have been soooo bad this month.... Was gonna run Saturday - stormy and in the 30s. Was gonna run Sunday - my sis and I made tamales all day. Monday - didn't happen. FINALLY today I ran 6 miles with a few folks from my running club!
My goal for the month won't happen, but as I look over the entire year, I'm pretty pleased with my efforts. Lesson - as with anything that you work on for a long period of time, it's important not to stress over one day or one week that didn't go well, but look over time and realize where you've come from....

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays y'all!!!

Safe travels, Rose, and everyone else who will be traveling these next few days.

Getting ready to update through post 158. :)
Except mine. I have to go through runkeeper and add everything in for the last week.

Well I got in hour at the gym and then came home. While in my garage I fell and bruised my entire right hip/leg/ butt... Argh!

500/800
Hope you are ok!

Feel better!

Very well put. :)

So I am going to share again, cause I think this group is mostly girls. I got some news this week that shouldn't have really shocked me, but it did. My doctor told me I am at menopause--at 46. This has been a challenging year, and while I didn't have a lot of symptoms (thank goodness) I was ridiculously (like over the top) emotional for about 18 months. I find out next week if I have to have some tests run and if I am going to go on hormone replacement. Anyhow, it's no biggie just kind of one of those times in life that make you think about who you are and what you want to do with your time. And...I have gained weight over the past 2 years to the tune of 25 pounds. Uggh.

Thank you TxAg for your post--because I needed that this week. And thank you to everyone for continuing to use this forum to talk about being healthy and taking care of yourself. Sometimes we all just need a little encouragement. :)

168 min run this morning
Hang in there Rose. You are an encouragement to us all. I've been on HRT for over 20 years and it's no biggie. I'm always afraid at my annual physical he's going to ask me to stop
