Elenita - I am so sorry to hear about your son and your cancelled vacation.
I hope he gets better and your chemo treatments goes well. I know you will have a good time in Feb ....we just wont get the pleasure of meeting you. Go ahead and find the thread for your new cruise date and get to know the other people. Your family will be in our prayers.

Was surfing around yesterday and saw that Disney is promoting "our" date cheaply still. That's good news, I think! Not too full... And as someone with a cat 12 gty, I'm saying, c'mon, boys, fill those cheap seats, again and again...

I have been checking prices for our seven day next year so I will be prepared for rebooking while onboard for Christies Thirteenth Birthday. I will NOT be in a cat4!!!!! I would like at least a cat6 but may end up a cat9. I like the verandah. I really think I would want it on a longer cruise, however I dont want William to have a heartattack on board and not make it next year!!!!!! When I have planned our trips in the past I give him the information in spurts. I tell him about the cruise, a month later the land and we have to have airfare so that is a given. It doesnt sound as bad and we pay off accordingly so when we travel we dont have it hanging over our heads and all goes well. When we go to book on board he will probably freak out. I am going to keep researching and shoot dreams unlimited an email right before I go to check on dates so I can transfer to them when they have the extra incentives. I could always book cat9 and maybe change my cat when I transfer. Does anyone have any helpful hints? Or maybe know something that I should about rebooking onboard?

MOTM - I think that we're in the same boat. I'm planning on rebooking a 7-night cruise for my 30th birthday in July, 2009! I, too, am planning on transferring it to Dreams once we get back to take advantage of whatever incentive they are offering.

I know exactly what you mean about giving information to DH in bits. We're planning a 10-day trip to WDW next September, 2008, so I've got to keep him thinking that 2009 cruise is just a possibility until I tell him that we need to go to our rebooking meet on the ship - LOL. Since this is my first cruise, I'm really going to try to be objective about how much we are actually going to use our verandah. We booked a Cat. 5 for this trip only because it was only $20 more than the Cat. 6 and allowed us to be "higher" in the ship.

Oh, I love this discussion about dh's having too much info! A little knowledge is a dangerous thing... Not saying I don't do it myself, mind you! I am also pretty good at giving him the prices before taxes.

I haven't posted a whole lot lately. Been helping take care of the two g/babies.

The littlest one, Abby, one year and two weeks old is very, very sick.

I took her to the Dr. this morning and she has acute mastitis of the right breast. Can you imagine that in a one year old. I am so so very upset.

If the antibotics do not work on her, she will have to be hospitalized like ASAP.

My DD is a total wreck about this. It is her first and only child.


We will know Friday morning if she will have to be hospitalized. I pray that the antibotics start working on her.

Here is her beautiful picture last week.

I'll keep in touch and let you know what happens during the next 36 hours.
We are on pins and needles to say the least

thank you so so very much - I just called and checked on her.

We are putting heat packs - per the Dr. every 2 hours - and the last one DD put on her - she kept it on for about 20 minutes and then took it off and turned over and went to sleep for the night. She knows it is good for her.

Funny, the Dr. said hot packs but online in some suggestions, it said cold.

Hope the Dr. knows better.

So she is sleeping now.

DD has a TV monitor on her and she will watch her all night, for sure

thanks so so much. Little Abby has to be ready for this wonderful cruise we have planned.

I think the rain is letting up a little and hopefully the sun will burn off a little of the soggy mess we have here.

It could be worse, so I definitely am not complaining.

I was on the phone with them to book another cruise for Nov. 15 and just took care of everything at one time.

Now I have 3 cruises before ours.

I was so pooped today, I didn't go down to Karen's house but I did call and check on her. She did pretty good today. Just getting that bottom clear now. She is eating lots of Yogurt and rice and bananas.

I'll probably go down today sometime. I have the 4 YO this w/end and she is here now for the night.

My energy is running low

In fact I am so tired, I can't sleep tonight.
