Here is a link to the US Dept of Labor website that gives some Labor Day history:What is Labor Day about? We have a Labour (May) day that celebrates worker's rights (or complains about the current governments laws, depending on your political views). Is it like that? Ours was originally started by the Labour Party but the current Liberal party changed it to October this year which made many in the trade unions rather cranky.

No sitting up half the night waiting!
..I will try and remember and do it this evening when I get home.
so I came home and just made a peach cobbler. Hoping it turns out. It's a Paul Dean receipe...its in the oven now. I will let you know.. I did pass some peaches out at work, but still have a lot left. which by the way are soooo good and juicy.....

I'm sorry she's not bringing your granddaughter. Didn't you tell her the rules?
