Really slept in today, just got up about 20 min. ago. Wally is still sleeping...

No plans for today, think I will do some cleaning around here and that's it.

Tomorrow morning we are going for a ride on the bike.

Good morning! And Happy Labor Day!!!
DH and I slept until 8 this morning, can't tell you the last time I did that! DH did it Saturday and last week so we won't count him!


It is cloudy and grey, rain expected for the next three days, but hopefully the horrific heat and humidity will be done and gone for a few days after!

I'm just getting very excited!!!!

Sorry to hear, I encounter annoying people daily at work. It can dampen your day, but I just try to smile and move on....

Another day to just sit around and do nothing.. my son called me this morning at 8:15 and woke me up. He just wanted to let me know that he had his seating chart for the wedding, and letting me know the table arrangements....I think we are good to go for this wedding....only 11 more days.

Well have a good Labor day....chillin & relaxing

Another day to just sit around and do nothing.. my son called me this morning at 8:15 and woke me up. He just wanted to let me know that he had his seating chart for the wedding, and letting me know the table arrangements....I think we are good to go for this wedding....only 11 more days.

How exciting is that!!! Less than two weeks! Then the next 'big thing" is a new grand baby! 2013 is definitely an exciting year for you!!!!!

I've gotten a good bit of sleep this weekend. Feeling stronger to do another push until I'm back in the bubble for a few days.....hopefully that and all the usual fall things will hold me until December!!!

Fall is so much nicer than Autumn Except where I live we really not have noticeable changes in the seasons so the leaves only really fall if a cyclone blows them off

Ours was originally started by the Labour Party but the current Liberal party changed it to October this year which made many in the trade unions rather cranky.

Basically, labor day is a federal holiday, given to the people as a day of rest and to celebrate their contribution to the economy. so basically a day off work...

Yep, same thing....just spelled differently.
Labour=labor
colour=color
favourite=favorite

It used to be the 1st of September until they went on the Monday holiday kick, all holidays possible are on Monday so there is a 3 day weekend involved. Now it's the first Monday in September. Here in Virginia, it signals back to school on the following day.
