I need some happy cruise countdown. I know it's Friday, but it's started out on a very down note and now I REALLY can't wait to get out of here today.

112 days 1 hour 19 minutes and 35 seconds to take-off

Hope your day gets better.....but we know how fast these next 112 days will go......and the 7 days on the cruise even faster....

Mowing the lawn this morning came across a black snake, around 3 ft long.... in my eyes it was a 20ft anaconda ready to bite me....ran like hell.. I just cannot handle snakes....I should have run over it with the mower, but with my luck there would be more of them in the wings.

that is so me....I hate them and I always think they are on the attack...guess I watch to many crazy movies...

so what happened to the snake? at least it wasnt a alligator...

YIKES..... that's like the 6 ft Cottonmouth (10 inch garter) snake I killed with a single blow of my powerful broadsword (garden trowel)

Yesterday, my car wouldn't start, today I find that it just needed a battery. I'm glad that it wasn't something more expensive!

Glad to hear it was something easily and relatively inexpensive to fix!!! Enjoy Planes...I have an actual movie poster from the movie. My DH works with the guys who interfaces with DoD and the movie/TV people. It's headed to the frame shop soon!

Oh NOT brave!! I was on my knees digging around the tree planting flowers and itcame crawling out of the mulch...it was me or him! LOL. Needless to say, no more flowers were planted around that tree!!

I made Mark get the trash can tonight since the can is near where the snake was. I wasn't going anywhere near that area in the dark. I don't know what I would have done in your shoes... probably wet my pants first...lol

I had Mark get a rake and I wanted him to put it in a storage bin so we could relocate it. Needless to say it took off into the neighbors bushes so it is still on the prowl...

With my luck, if I shredded it into pieces with the mower, each piece would grow into another 20 footer

John and I went to see planes last weekend. I enjoyed it--already added a few planes to my cars collection. Hope I get a grandchild soon!

My 7 year old picked to have her birthday party at the Drive In this year.... It was a beautiful night with lots of friends and family... We saw Disney Planes and the Smurfs 2.... The best part is I didn't have to clean my house prior or after the party...

Not much here, Wally and I got back a little while ago, took his car in for oil change.

I just started laundry, and then we are going grocery shopping.

And that about sums up our Saturday.

Tomorrow I have a baby shower to attend. Then chillin the rest of the day.
