they are calling for rain this afternoon. Hoping it holds out until the rally is over...even tho I will not be there. They were already getting in line at 4am this morning to cheer on the blackhawks....

The thermometer hit 104 here this afternoon. Can hardly wait for this weather to break!
My son stopped by this evening. He dropped off their wedding invite...he designed it. He did a really good job. So now I just have to pin him down and start working on our t-shirts....
Sulley slept in until 8:45! 
Good morning!! hope everyone is ready for a nice weekend! We slept in around here! I cannot tell when I've slept as late as I did this morning! I didn't get up until 7:45!
I've got fresh blueberry scones in the oven for breakfast...Dang...forgot the sugar on top...
Ohhh those sound yummy....sugar or not....
I know I slept in also, got up around 8:15....then ran and got us some coffee from Dunkin Donuts and mowed the lawn. We just finished and it started to rain, and its coming down pretty good right about now.

I like that word "chillaxing!" We're in for several more days of this awful heat. There's about 5-10 days each year that it sure would be nice to have air conditioning!
Well it sounds like politics is just politics no matter where you are from. It does sound a bit confusing, but I believe the politicians perfer it that way, so they can try and pull the wool over our eyes or just to cover up what they should'nt be doing but are doing it anyway...

I have made about 15 litres of spaghetti sauce with venison meat One lasagne eaten, another in the fridge for another night then about 7 litres of sauce in containers to freeze I've also mowed around the veggie garden and let the chickens and ducks out of their yard but realised it was a bad idea when three of the chickens realised my spinach was tastier than the lawn clippings and the ducks decided to fly over the fence!
