NICE!!! I of course get to work....Dave starts his every Friday off furlough the next week. yay. NOT!!

Out of office messages...

1. I'm currently out of the office on furlough. If you don't understand
what this means, please go to your bank, take out 20% of your last paycheck
and burn it.

2. I am currently on furlough, but appreciate the solidarity of congress
members for their support. Rep. John Bohener has announced he will now
reduce his use of spray-on tan so he will be 20% less orange. In
solidarity, I will cry 20% more.

3. I am currently out of office on furlough. It is forced time off
without pay. Please contact Congress for assistance. They are actually not
working, but still getting paid for it.

You know this is so sad. I remember my mother complaining about this all time when I was younger and it would drive me crazy. I am now my mother....last night on ABC news they were talking about the senate and how we are paying for their coffe and donuts...one california senator has spent this year alone 97,000 on coffe and donuts for his staff and meetings...WHAT and we are footing the bill....what is wrong with this picture??

You know this is so sad. I remember my mother complaining about this all time when I was younger and it would drive me crazy. I am now my mother....last night on ABC news they were talking about the senate and how we are paying for their coffe and donuts...one california senator has spent this year alone 97,000 on coffe and donuts for his staff and meetings...WHAT and we are footing the bill....what is wrong with this picture??

If they don't do something about FY2014 by October...it's just gonna get worse for us. I'm keeping on going....I keep on planning.

We now have, as of this morning, a new Prime Minister who was previously the Prime Minister until he was deposed/stabbed in the back (however you want to see it) by government ministers because he's alleged to be a mini tyrant and is now put back into the top job supposedly by the same people who helped to overthrow him last time. AND we are meant to be going to the polls in September but it could now be brought forward to August to supposedly take advantage of his new-found popularity. If it sounds confusing to you imagine how it is for us!!!

On a brighter note we fly out in 154 days to begin out holiday Almost 8 weeks of enjoying your lovely country and meeting new people

Crazy times, must look crazier to the outside world....bring on the polls! Let the public sort out what, evidently, the government cannot sort out for themselves!

Well it sounds like politics is just politics no matter where you are from. It does sound a bit confusing, but I believe the politicians perfer it that way, so they can try and pull the wool over our eyes or just to cover up what they should'nt be doing but are doing it anyway...
Gee I should try double talking more, then I can join Congress....
