in just 3 days we will be single digit midgets!

I hate to wish away time, but I'm ready for this vacation to start. I'm really ready to just go now and buy what I need when I get there. I don't want to pack...I'm over this cold weather already (it was 9 degrees outside when I took the dog out this morning)...and even though it's Monday of a very short work week, I'm ready to take my toys and go home already.

We had Emma's birthday party at the house yesterday, so the goals for this week are thank you cards, getting everything cleaned up again, pies done for Thanksgiving, finishing up FE gifts and packing. Somehow, I need to fit 7 more work days, working a college football game, swimming, tumbling and Tae Kwan Do classes, two doctor's appointments, and haircuts/mani/pedis for myself and Emma into the next 11 days, too.

I just keep telling myself that it's going to make the cruise and meeting all of you wonderful people that much sweeter!

I don't get a mani….they are a waste on me…starts chipping the second day no matter what. My pedi however, usually lasts a good long time. the lady who does mine does some nice art so I will ask her for something tropical/ beachy!!

I have the same problem with mani's. Chips right away--I even tried the new gels but they just pop off my nails! I have a mani but just use clear Nail-Tek. The massage is worth it

I feel the same way..so much to do and going on,but somehow I know that we will manage to do it and get it done....and if not.... Oh well it will wait until we get back.

working a 1.5 day Thursday and then Friday our plane takes off at 7am...woohoo...


Just got my carrot cake in the oven...tomorrow when I get home, will put the cream cheese frosting on it....love it...

9 days 19 hours 27 minutes 32 seconds (Yeah, it was 4:30 AM)

Ok to much going on in my mind....so this morning, I'm taking my shower and it dawns on me I never pulled my turkey out to defrost....now I made my carrot cake, I have my bread out and drying for my stuffing but never pulled the turkey..... Oh well, I know have it sitting in water...it should be fine.
