December 26 - BLT Check In Online

Hi.
I am arriving on December 26 at 10:30 am at BLT one bedroom standard view, for a 3 night pre cruise stay.
Would you suggest checking in online?
I've never checked in online and once at BLT got my room at 10 am and last trip at GF, got my room at 4 pm.
What would you do?

Online check in doesn't seem to matter much one way or the other.

It's all about vacation patterns, room types and sizes, popularity of the resort, season, mood of the room assigner and luck.

I think the easiest thing to do would be for you to just RELAX. Transfer the reservation over to me and I'll take care of everything for you!

That's pretty much it in a nutshell. I can't tell much difference either way.

80% of the time ive had success getting a room early when I check in online and inform Disney of my travel plans to arrive early. I'd go ahead and check-in online...it doesn't hurt your chances only makes them better. *If you have a specific room request that definitely makes it harder to get an early check-in

I only checked in on line 2 times 1st time was AKV and the room was not ready at 11AM when we arrived we came back at 2:30 it still was not ready so I asked if they had ANY 1 bdrm sv available and if and after checking they said oh yea sure we do and they gave us another room (1st room was pre assigned from the day before). the 2nd time was at BWV and we did not arrive until after 5PM the room was ready and it was AWESOME! I made a request of high floor and we got top floor with views of EPCOT and MK fireworks from the our balcony! When we checked in the front desk CM said "you have a great room someone else asked for it when they checked in" again it was preassigned. With that being said when I have not done online check in I have gotten right in and I have had to wait until after 4PM a crap shoot! I would certainly make plans for that day. I am also arriving on the 26th BLT GV at probably around 11:00AM and I am going to assume I will be waiting! good luck to both of us

I did online check-in for my stay at BWV last month. I listed my arrival time as 12:30pm. Arrived around that time, room not ready. So I went to Epcot and wait for the text. Around 3:15, no text so I decided to head back. Went to the front desk at 3:40, room was ready. Never got a text. My requests were top floor, close to the elevator. Got 3rd floor (of 5) and almost as far as possible from the elevator (3 rooms from end of hallway). I'm not complaining, I'm just saying not to have a lot of faith in online check-in making a difference.

If it can't hurt me, then I will check in online.
I was going to put a request in but I really don't care where I am while there.
I've had standard two bedrooms and once had a MK/Lake View, once a Lake View and once a pool view. Once bottom floor in a standard studio, overlooking the boat dock. This time, we are one bedroom and think I will roll the dice.
