Just an FYI about Jollywood Nights - I got very sick right before our party in December and had to leave the park. I assumed the ticket was non refundable, so I asked Guest Services if it would be possible to get a credit to attend a party this year. The CM said no because there is no guarantee Jollywood Nights will return this year. I am still hoping it will but just a heads up that it may not be a given like MVMCP.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping it does return, I'm looking forward to it the most!

Me too! I was so excited for it! We were there just briefly before I got sick and seeing so many people dressed up for the party was a lot of fun!

I think there is an excellent chance JN returns this year. MK just gets so crazy between crowds that season and closing early for MVMCP. JN is a release valve lol.

I understand why the CM did not want to commit, but they really should’ve added that your unused JN ticket could be applied to any other single future ticket, including MNSSHP or MVMCP if JN did not return. The unused JN ticket can also be applied to normal park ticket too.

It has to be one to one though. You cannot apply 3 JN to one 5 day hopper, or vice versa.

She actually refunded the ticket, which was above and beyond and completely unexpected. I was in pretty bad shape, so she may have done what was quickest as a courtesy so I could be on my way. I would have been happy with the options you mentioned as well as I fully expected they might not be able to do anything.

We love Pop especially now since it has the Skyliner. We save up every cent for our vacations so money is a factor for us and we can stay a lot longer at Pop versus any Deluxe. We can use the saved money for any parties that may be going on or splurge on a sit down restaurant that we have wanted to try.

I took a quick scan of all of the posts so my apologies if this was already addressed. Have you ever looked into renting DVC points for your stay? It makes Deluxe resorts more affordable. For reference, we just rented DVC points from an owner who booked a stay from 12/13 - 12/20 in the new Poly Tower. Cost was $2500 for the room. Owners charge a per point fee so prices will vary based on the number of points required and the rental cost per point.

We're heading to Port Orleans French Quarter in December because all the rooms at that resort will be renovated by Dec. 2025, but bus transportation is all that's offered to the theme parks, so that might make it a no for your trip needs.

I have thought about renting points but I have a very hard time committing to a resort from the time I book until our travel time It is something that we should look into though!

I thought about the new rooms as well. The skyliner was more important to us this trip though.
