December 2025 Refurbs

At least its not wrong but...its like dead today

Why not do it on a weekday next week after Halloween?

My Issue with Disney prices is when they seem to close rides down during the bustiest days when we have plenty of dead time, heck Summer is not that busy any more soooo why not then

When are these dead times you speak of? Are they "dead" year after year. Or is it random?

Disney has the data they know what days will be slower

This is how they set up the ticket prices, the days that will be busier cost more and the slower days cost less to draw people in

The summer is wayyyyyy slower then the end of the year...The holidays are the busiest days of the year, nothing should be closed if you can help it....yet they have 3 attractions down and now a 4th for a few days but still...do it next week inbetween the holidays

Yeah I don't get it, like It's a Small World is going to be open. I have missed it on my 2 past trips, it honestly was mind blowing to me. Big Thunder being down is a shame, I'm going Dec 14th - 19th and hope it opens soon. I saw videos of it being in testing so maybe they will have a date soon.

One thing I love about TDR is they publish their entire refurb schedule a year out. "Muh tickets sale" is no excuse, Tokyo is like twice the size of LA in population and is perfectly fine with publishing their entire schedule.

It has been a good 20 years since I have been to Disneyland when it was "dead." Back when there really were slow seasons. Now there are not as busy seasons, busy seasons, and its packed season.

My very first visit was 2004. then I had an AP in 2005-2007. During those AP years, it was pretty dead and I loved it. My husband and I were just talking about this the other day actually. We remember one night, they let us stay on Big Thunder to ride it through again because no one was in line.

And one night there was no line for Space Mountain. They didn't let us stay on the ride but we ran back through the queue and ended up riding it 7 times.

Crazy to think about that now. It would definitely never be possible.

I mean, also I guess it depends on what you think dead is

But to me when you have days when 99% of the rides are under an hour its dead

Thats like not a crowded Disneyland when Indy is just 55 mins and is the longest wait in the park, if you disagree cool but to me the parks still have off season times and even summer just isn't the crowded and the only reason it is, is because we had the summer deal I bet without that it would only be mostly MK holders and tourists...which yeah Tourism is going down due to the nature of whats happening right now and do not think it will improve so Disney next year coulddddddd see less people but if they keep doing deals like the 3 days for 250 bucks then they will find ways to get around the crowd issues they could have

Hi...Appreciate all the replies and comments...but this is a refurbs thread....please focus on refurbs. I panic when I see all the replies b/c that might mean something was added to the calendar, removed etc.
