Anyone seen the storytellers pajama breakfast/brunch come up for December yet? Our dates just came into play, but I’ve been looking at other dates and not seeing it?

Yes, the day they started I got one for the 8th

I now have all my dining reservations for our first week of December holiday. Got everything I wanted, although I had to compromise a bit on times but thats okay. I have to say when we went in 2022 we stayed offsite and I could not get any of the things I wanted but this time we are staying at the DL Hotel (my reservations are linked in the website) and I managed to get everything really easily. I have heard they keep a pool of spots available for hotel guests and I am wondering if that is why I had success this time. Guess I'll never know but seems like the Disney gods were smiling on me. Only a few weeks to go.

Okay guys, we have this friend who is from SoCal, but lives in Portland now. He pops down to DL for a day a couple times a year… usually timed to visit family. Strolls in the parks around noon, and bails after dinner, and has NEVER been to DCA. He has agreed to join us for 1 day of our 3 day trip, and do DL our way.

This means we will be rope dropping DL, crossing to DCA around noon, stacking LL as best we can. Since he has never been to DCA, I booked WOC dessert party for the 3 of us for the later show, he will probably need to sit by then anyway

I’d like to be in Carsland when it lights up, but honestly can’t remember when that would be in December. What other things am I forgetting, that you would suggest for a DCA first timer, and honestly extremely casual park goer… he is very game to hang with us the whole day, rope drop till close, got himself a park hopper and LL too.

It's at the same "time" year-round, well kind of at least. It is at sunset. Check the weather app on your phone and see when that is for that day.

OK...got RDZ for Saturday so we are good to go! May try for Storytellers pajama party and waiting for fireworks/parade announcements but have got the two must-dos. Now to finish my charm bracelets...

Got a storytellers ressie this morning, not the time I wanted, but I also didn’t get up early for it. Will keep an eye out and try to flip it for closer to lunch time. Wish they would release the festival food menu… we have gone many years over Halloween season, and it’s hard to wait for them to finish one holiday and move on to the next

Has anyone every taken some food into plastic bags when your done eating?

Technically, that is not allowed at a buffet. It’s all you care to eat, while in the restaurant. I will say (it has been years) but when my kiddo was little and we had grabbed a single serve box of cereal but it was still unopened at the end of breakfast, the server let me save it for later.

I am sure there have been people who have brought in Ziplock bags and taken food to go. But doggie bags are not usually something that is allowed at buffets.

Added additional Fantasmic package for Sunday plus Plaza Inn character breakfast. Still going to try for pajama party at Storytellers but so far nothing comes up except dinner.

I am really trying to make this special for my BFF of over 55 years (we went to grade school together). Her health has not been good the last six months and who knows...this might be our last trip together.

I don't think so. There are only a handful of rides that we will be going on that include LL. So definitely not worth the cost.

Lots of Napa Rose reservations available for Saturday, December 14 and Sunday, December 15.
