December 2014... Will you ever get here?

Hey there all you WDW Fans...
Planning my first trip to WDW in December 7 to 14, 2015. Part's of my family have been there, but sadly I never have. We will be celebrating my sister's honeymoon and enjoying some family time. Our mom is an ovarian cancer survivor, and she wants to make the most of her time. (It's very common that it will recur.) 3 Nieces/ GD in tow - 11, 8, and 2. Should be quite an adventure.

Waiting to hear back on the DVC availability. Hoping for BWV, AKV, or maybe FWV or OKW. Hopefully we can get a 2bbr and a studio in the same area. My honey and I will fly in - so no car for us. But the fam is heading in by car.

I think I am more excited that the girls - I periodically burst out with... "Guess what? We're going to Disney!"

How do you all pass the time waiting for your trips?

We are going the same time! We will be on the Disney Dream first and then we will be staying at the Century Pop until the 14th. I pass the time by watching you tube videos of the parks and the cruise line! My husband thinks I'm obsessed.... I may be a little bit! Lol.

Side note... My mom is an ovarian cancer survivor as well. It's been almost six years since she completed treatment! Good luck to your mom!

Thanks for sharing - and for the encouragement about your Mom. It's awesome to hear it's been 6 years! I think my mom worries lots about it recurring.

Still waiting on word related to DVC Rental - Sigh... hopefully some magic will happen soon!

Still no word from the rental companies - planning to strike out on my own to look for owners to rent from.
