december 2014 planning?

how does everyone plan their trip/dining reservations when the schedule isn't out yet? i'm going the first week of December and need to make my dining reservations in a few days--i understand CP is every night but doesn't begin booking until July. what about fantasmic dates/showtimes?

The December calendar has been posted for several weeks.
(MK hours were late in going up, but they have been out since last week, too.)

While NO calendar is (or could be) 100% accurate, the WDW Travel The Disney Travel Agent Calendar
is consistently the earliest-listed and best-maintained (frequently updated) of all of the on-line calendars.

Expect these early-posted hours to be updated by Disney as the actual dates get closer.

(Just keep re-checking this calendar as time goes by.)

So glad the calendar came out and it was great to reassure myself.

Usually before any calendar is out you can start planning by using the previous months calendar and the previous year for that same month. Ex: We are also going 1st week Dec (check in the 30th). I used Nov calendar to estimate EMH - I was spot on. I also used Dec 2013 to estimate hours. Also the MVMCP dates were out already do you could use those to plan the nights MK would close early. Some things that changed were Illuminations were 30 min different (prob for CP).

The only hard thing still is not having a dinner ADR the night of CP, since we plan on doing CP dinner package. But other than that - without the calendar, I did pretty good. Just use the other tools next time and you get at least 75% comfort. easywdw is helpful providing all the tools also as well as here on wdwinfo with all the dates of the parties and CP.
