Hey Missy - if you are talking about just a regular 8 day rental the rates are now even lower (using the $30. Visa coupon AD2338FDF).

Alamo rates are down again for early December. 12/2 - 12/9 standard size vehicle @ $105. total using AP 860292 and $30 Visa coupon AD2338FDF.

It's encouraging to see rates starting to move. I just checked my mid-Dec (14-23) and grabbed a mini-van since it came down. Up to this point, I couldn't get a minivan at a reasonable rate. My full size is still a tad higher than what I booked, but I'm hoping the downward trend continues. I think we're starting to get in the "check daily" phase.

For reference (Dec 14, 11:30 to Dec 23, 4:00):
mini-van, Costco = $342.07, AP=$304-ish
previous booking, full size, Costco = $178.91, AP=$160.02

So glad I checked this thread!! Got a minivan for 12/6-12/14 for $212 at Alamo!! That's down from $291 at National, which I thought was good.

K. So I have 2 mini vans rented through alamo for 12/12-12/19. At $288 each. That's with my walmart associate discount. Do yall think I can get any lower than that or is that pretty good? Btw. I have 10 people that why I have 2 vans.

Just got a full size from Dollar through BJ's Travel for 12/26-12/31 for a total of $253! so happy

You may want to check this rental. I used the southwest code (7013880) and the coupon (AD2338FDF), with a noon-noon rental the price is $221.45 on a 7 passenger minivan. An 8 passenger is $246.77.

I would think you'd be better off going with 1 minivan plus a full size ($137.89) or smaller for the other car.

I would think you'd be better off going with 1 minivan plus a full size ($137.89) or smaller for the other car.

What is the southwest code? I meam what are the requirements to use that code. I ised the 30 off one and got my reservation down to $251. I'd get 1 van and a car. But my father who is paying for the other vehicle wants a mini can as well mainly for height reasons. My mother has difficulty getting in and out of lower cars. So price really isn't an issue on the other van. I was just searching to lower the price if possible thanks yall!

We are flying in on Southwest however I think you just need to be a Southwest Rapid Rewards member.

Technically you have to be a passholder to use the code. I guess you could hope that by using the kiosk to check out, they wouldn't ask. But that wouldn't be a risk I'd want to take.
