December 2013 Seasons

Anyone notice that for December 2013, there are now three seasons?

11/30-12/12/13 is fall season.

12/13-12/19 is now peak season with rates anywhere to $25 to $75 more per night over the early December dates. This is a new season for Decmeber.

12/20-12/31/13 is holiday season.

Once upon a time ago, the first three weeks of December were value season with the least expensive rates of the year.

Oh my gosh, that is terrible. There is a long shot we may be able to come and have our second "trip-of-a-lifetime" at WDW in December 2013. I'd be planning December 10-20 based on previous years free dining dates but had no idea it would be peak season rates!! That may put a dampner on the idea

I did notice the full rack rates--yikes! That's when I realized I will be hoping for a room only discount that will probably be a better deal for us. If we could trade the TS dessert and soft drink for a credit towards a small salad and glass of wine, then we'd be talking!
