**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

Hello everyone! Please add me to the December Roll Call List. I will be staying at the Beach Club Villas from December 7th - December 14th. I have been to the World one other time around Christmas (1999) but this will be DH's first Holiday experience. We are both very excited.

I was lucky enough to get a reservation for BoG on December 9th at 4:35. I ended up calling DVC at 9:00. Hearing that "beep, beep, beep" any further was going to push me over a ledge. Lol. I was so happy to get through and have such a wonderful DVC CM help me with my reservation. Good luck to all of you still trying.

We are you g in December too and just found this thread.

We got out bOG reservation for 12/4 after redialing for 55minuyes! We are a party of ten! I tried back at 9:15 once I got to work to try for a better time and nothing available 11/29 or 12/4... At least for my brood. Makes me wonder if the week one December reservations booked up so fast does this mean the week will be a bit busy?

Good luck for anyone still trying!

Using the 407-939-7675, I was able to get the exact time I wanted (6:30PM on 12/19). The system also said that 6:15PM and 6:45PM were open, so don't give up!

I'm on hold now to talk to a representative, so I can give a credit card to make sure the reservation doesn't get posted (thanks to PP above for the heads up!).

Just a tip: by calling the disabilities line and asking to be transferred, you will get a LIVE person to make your ADR, not the automated system, so you can add your cc. It was super easy!

I didn't read the tips on here but I started dialing this morning - took me two hours JUST to get anything but an engaged signal. I very nearly gave up (mostly because my fingers hurt from hitting redial, end, redial, end). Once I heard that magical sound and I was finally through (at 2 hours and 6 minutes) I waited on hold for a further 50 minutes. The end result...I got the reservation I wanted exactly - 12/23 at 6.00pm. Totally made my day!!

Don't give up everyone...just be prepared. Congrats to everyone who got the ressies they wanted and good luck to those that are continuing to try.

Ooo I missed putting our details for the roll call as well.

We'll be at Saratoga Springs unless our waitlist for AK comes through. Arriving on Sat, 12/1 and departing on Sun, 12/9. It's just the three of us, DH, myself, and DD(3).

Got my date and time I wanted !!! December 15 at 4:50 pm !!!
It was the last 3 times open its 10 am in Chicago and the disneu lines r still busy
I wasn't ask for cc thru automatic service but it on my reservation page Disney world web site so I'm just waiting to call Disney to give it to them
I got thru the different number not the dine number waited 80 minutes of redialing but I'm happy!!

Hate to interupt the BoG-ing ( ), but I found a thread that may be helpful for people that are the designated bag/backpack carrier. Even for those who aren't but are the ones that decide what goes in it.

It is the What's in Your Bag thread . Worth checking out for ideas or to share tips, hints or types of bag to bring.

Another poster on the 'I got my BOG ADR' thread (Restaurants) is saying that any bookings NOT secured with a cc number will be cancelled so, if you used the automated service (like I did) call back and speak to an agent to attach your cc number.

Not sure how long they will hold the booking for - this just gets better

That is only for DVC reservations though. Did this poster mention that? I just confirmed with a DVC agent.

My sister and I were both up at 6:00am central for BOG reservations. She finally got through after 45 minutes and booked through the automated system. After seeing several people here on the DIS post they were told bookings without credit card guarantees would be deleted tonight at midnight, I had my sister call back (I'm at work so I can't do it myself).

Thankfully, the CM was able to re-book us for the same day and time (December 13 at 5:20). We got a new confirmation number, which is showing up online in place of the old one. She said she'd had a lot of people with the same problem calling back in. If you reserved through the automated system, I would strongly recommend you call back.

I don't think I'm on the roll call but we are arriving on 12/23/12 and departing on 12/29/12. It our 1st time ever visiting WDW! We are staying @ all star movies! Me, DH, DD10 (will be 11 for trip) and DD4 (will be 5 for trip)! We are beyond excited but we won't make it to the party any suggestions on what we shouldn't miss we would love to here about it!

Add us to roll call, we will be arriving dec 25th and leaving jan1st, staying at BLT. This is our 11th trip but first in December, DD turns 9 on trip and DS is 7. We are hopefully surprising our kids on Christmas morning

I'm reading on a BoG thread that there are people having success RIGHT NOW by calling the Disney Store (800 number I guess?) and then asking to be transferred to dining.

Who even thinks to try something like that?

Really glad I opted to pass on BOG this trip. I went through this for F&W last year. Once is more than enough.

Keep hangin' in there those that are still trying.

Those that gave up, keep your ear to the ground. You never know when they might add res's on the site or people have to cancel and post on the Cancelled ADR thread.

Definitely check back after the RO discounts are released and at the 45- day mark. Lots of people cancel if they can't get a discount.

No, it just means everyone on these (and similar) boards are planning to eat at BOG. Disney really hasn't marketed FLE to the general public yet. And judging by this thread, not everyone planning dinner will even be in MK that day.

On the plus side, if you were having trouble getting ADRs at some other location - I would check back today or tomorrow. There's going to be a lot of shifting and canceling.
