**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

No, it just means everyone on these (and similar) boards are planning to eat at BOG. ;) Disney really hasn't marketed FLE to the general public yet. And judging by this thread, not everyone planning dinner will even be in MK that day.

On the plus side, if you were having trouble getting ADRs at some other location - I would check back today or tomorrow. There's going to be a lot of shifting and canceling. ;)

Good point! We got our date of November 27th before the Christmas Party so I am one happy gal! There will be openings at hard to get restaurants I bet, people who book like this also have great ADR's to give up.

Just booked Teppan Edo for NYE! No ressie left for party of 5 as of yesterday, suddenly one shows up. I guess somebody is going to BOG instead!

I didn't make BOG adr's for myself, but for a client. They aren't going until Feb, but I got them in at 6pm on the dot...just like they wanted! (It only took me 3.5 hours of redialing & waiting!!!!!) :headache: We are going to BOG for cs lunch. I want to wait & see if they add characters/photo package for next year. Congrats to all of those who scored adr's though!

BTW--did you guys see that if you went through the automated system, and DIDN'T enter a credit card #, that your reservation *may* be cancelled? Reportedly, the automated system was incorrectly set-up, and should have required a CC# at time of booking.

Congrats to all who got the BOG they wanted, so sorry for those who were so frustrated. That's why I have my Dreams Agent handle my ADRs. I had a nice calm morning, and at 8:14 AM I got an email that she secured the exact GOG ADR we wanted. Thanks Merrie!

I got my BOG reservation...I think!! First I went through automated, then I called back to add my CC then (because I really am a paranoid person lol) I called back again to triple check that it won't be cancelled and she promised it's in the system and everything is fine:worship:

That was exhausting! I hope everybody is doing well getting the reservations they want and if not don't lose hope:cheer2:

Found out yesterday morning that friends of ours are also going to Disney the first week of December as well :woohoo:! Wasn't expecting that! Our dates are 11/29-12/8 and their's are 12/6-12/9. Due to their short vacation, they are not doing the DDP, but b/c the DH is in the airforce, they did get a military discount on their stay at FW cabins.

We're trying to hook up for either a breakfast or a dinner, but I don't know if that will be do-able or not. My mom and brother are coming with us (we're the ones organizing it -or I should say I'm the one, lol) and the husband's parents (aka his mom) are the ones organizing everything for them. We might be able to do dinner on the 6th or breakfast on the 8th before we leave to come home but still not sure.

That is only for DVC reservations though. Did this poster mention that? I just confirmed with a DVC agent.

No, they did not mention that so thanks, I don't feel so paranoid now haha

So, since I last checked in, hows everyone doing for BOG? Lets get a shout-out on them :teeth:

Dec 8th @4.25pm ....

infact the more I think about it, the better that is. We have an early breakfast that day at CRT so an early dinner will be perfect, the I originally wanted, we have a lunch booked.

I got Christmas dinner at 4:15, my automated booking was 5:25 but I couldn't wait on hold any longer for Disney Help (running 4 kids to/from basketball camps all day). Just so happy I got a booking for that day!!!!

Congratulations! I was tempted to reserve Christmas day, but went with another ADR that day. Maybe I'll hit it up for lunch.

I have to admit...felt like I'd been through the ringer by the time I got through! Was ready for a nap lol :)

For all those who booked BOG through the automated service YOU NEED TO CALL BACK AND ADD A CREDIT CARD NUMBER. THIS IS FOR ALL RESERVATIONS. IF YOU DON'T, THE RESERVATION WILL EXPIRE AT MIDNIGHT. Just confirmed this with Guest Services.

And Disney Food Blog just posted this afternoon saying the same thing.

I really feel for the people that booked through the automated service and won't know about this.

You'd think there'd be an easy way to stop them from expiring. Like some button you need to uncheck in the computer program. Or Disney better pick up the phone and call people that don't have a cc attached to their reservations.

Several Disney blogs are confirming this. They are also recommending that if you didn't get what you want, call back first thing tomorrow - after the system deletes all the ADRs without a credit card number overnight.

There are going to be some understandably upset people tomorrow. :(

It's doubtful they could modify it without removing the credit card constraint for all BOG ressies. But, yeah, Disney really should be calling all those people starting now.

I know and I feel for them - I am trying to spread the word, have just posted on the Theme parks board, its the only one I really go to (other than this one).

With the help of an awesome person here on the Dis, I was able to score BOG for Dec. 13th for 4:15pm before our MVMCP. I did have to recall to attach my CC number. Hopefully that is all taken care of now. This is gonna be the Disney vacay of my dreams!! BOG and Cindy's castle in the same trip! I gotta do something extra special for the hubby for putting up with all of this.

We will be there for our first Christmas visit Dec. 22 through 29th. Can't wait to see all the Christmas decorations!!

As we get closer to 250 pages of this thread...

I will post this a few times as we get ever so closer to 250 pages. That's when the thread gets locked because it is FULL.

When it happens, I will create a new PART TWO thread for us and copy everything over so it still looks the same. If I happen to not be around when it happens (today, tomorrow, whenever!), please be patient. I will get a part two thread up as soon as I notice this one gets locked. Thanks!

With all this BOG talk we are going to hit 250 very soon!
