On hold now 46 minutes! COME ON FREE DINING!!

Our TA's office opens at 10 am. I doubt they even have the FD code since they didn't even know about this offer until I told them about the "buzz" on the internet. They most likely will have a hard time getting through and once they do, might be on hold for a bit.

I was on the phone the second the time clicked to 6 am my time.......and was in queue for 40 min! It WAS worth the wait, though....no problem modifying my reservation to the free dining and kept my 7 nights at POR (dec 10-17). I also dropped to a NON-park hopper ticket. There was only one night when I considered going to another park anyway. Do most people get park hoppers? It only saved $121 but then that will pay for our MVMCP tickets

We always get Hoppers on our big trips. We usually don't do two parks in one day but often we'll do a targeted item in one park and then spend the rest of the day elsewhere. We once did Jedi and TSM at DHS and then spent the rest of the day at AK. It got those items out of the way and made our DHS day less stressful. Also, when Fantasmic wasn't every day, we would jump over and do it on an Epcot day and then did DHS on a lighter, non-Fantasmic day. We also like to eat in Epcot. Of course, we stay on the Boardwalk so location plays into it. I wouldn't usually want to bus between parks ( now that DS is past the nap stage).

This trip we have APs and we're only hopping once in 12 days - MK during the day and adults night out at Epcot EMH. I did realize though that we're entering a park on all three of our Off days - once to see Fantasmic and twice to catch the monorail in Epcot (to other resorts.) obviously not something we'd be doing if we had to pay for park admission but super convenient with APs.

WOW! That is great savings. Our trip actually went up by $600, when we upgraded to the basic plan and had to pay the ticket price increase, but I didn't have any dining on my previous resv. So I have to keep telling myself that $60/a day for Disney food is a good savings, especially when many of our meals would cost over a hundred dollars for our family of four.:yay:

We have purchased park hoppers for this trip. We will be hopping several days.

Welcome to all our new roll-call friends!! Its so nice to get excited with others and what better than Christmas with Mickey :cool1:

Don't forget if you are going to MVMCP to add your name to the list - link is in my siggy, kindly created by JLa01844 :)

Oooh and congrats to all those who got the FD promotion! I hear there was little choice though. FD is always good, we all have to eat so any money off food is a bonus :teeth:

We will be having a large family Disney trip to celebrate my niece's first birthday, Dec 7-10. It will be the first time with grandparents & aunts. We don't know where we are staying yet, waiting for deals as we get closer. We will probably get a 3 day Florida resident ticket. We are celebrating niece's birthday at the Crystal Palace, reservations have already been made.

This will be the first time we will be going to MK during the Christmas season. We are so excited!

We are taking a summer trip to Minnesota, leaving on Sunday. So I have been busy with laundry, packing etc....I have been offline most of today! Should be back to normal soon though. Hope everyone is having a fantastic beginning to your weekend. :)

to me; DH just confirmed that he has booked our room at SSR for Nov 30 - Dec 6. I started planning this trip in April, but we had a change of plans (booked a cruise for ourselves and my parents in March) and decided against our Dec trip. But this past week I have been leaving little hints that I want to see Disney at Christmas. So, I asked if is was possible and he gave me the thumbs up to start planninng. I have been reading this thread all week and I am so excited to finally be able to post. I still can't believe it we will be seeing Disney in all it's Christmas glory. I can't talk about at home because I am going to try my hardest to keep this a secret (I say that about every trip and end up telling the kids DD 7 DS 5 because I love have their excitement to share in the planning). Sorry about babbling on but I so want to tell the world.
