**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

We will be there 12/2 to 12/8. We are staying at the POLY. My DS (10) Birthday is 12/3 and my Birthday is 12/8. This will be first time here at Christmas. Really looking forward to it. Got all our ADRs complete except for the CP Dinner Package and hopefully Be Our Guest.

On the 7th, it won't be an issue. Dec. is the PM EMH for EPCOT. People staying on site get the 3hr bonus after the closing time. This is what we did last time. We saw Illuminations and then kept on getting back in line for TT and M:S over and over.

I know it's your arrival day, but it might be worth thinking about.

Thanks for that - we were going to try and get as many done on the Friday but I wondered if on the Monday we could ride during Illuminations

I'm waiting for this one as well. Tried booking yesterday for 12/8, but the window wasn't open yet. Tried early this morning, and already booked. This happened to us last time, so I'll keep checking and hope something opens up. Hoping I can get one along with the CPDP.

Quick questions about staying on-site and checking in. When you check-in, do they put an additional hold on your credit card? If so, how much?

Most hotels I've stayed at (no matter where I travel) will put an additional hold on your cc. Example: When I travel to Vegas and stay at a hotel there; they will put a hold for the amount of my stay, plus an additional $100 per night. Guess they're afraid I'm going to break something, steal the towels or drink everything in the stocked mini-fridge and not have money to pay for it. Anyways, when I stay 2 nights and the total of my stay is $225; the hotel will put a hold on my cc for $425. Was just wondering if they do the same at Disney. Making sure I work this into my budget. TIA

Nice list . I kept going back and forth between LTT and CP for our MVMCP night. In the end, I had to make sure the in-laws get to see Pohh, Tigger and Eyore. And because, it's closer to the front of the park, we can take our time walking up Main St. after the 4pm hard ticket time.

And my compliments on getting BBB and CRT on the same day. That will be really special for the little ones.

I got a hypothetical for anyone that wants to answer... Say I can get a Be Our Guest ADR, would you trade CP and all that goes with it, for BOG on a MVMCP night?

BBB and CRT in the same day was our number one wish. We are beyond thrilled that our TA was able to secure it!!! PLUS, we are going to book a carriage ride around 7:30 after dinner! How special on the last full day there our very own Princesses will just get the royal treatment, dine in THE Castle AND then a special carriage ride at POR!

As to your question....for us, it would be a no brainer. BOG!!! But, in all fairness, our girls are not big Pooh fans.

It's been crazy for us lately b/c we believe my Dad's cancer has returned. We are waiting on the results of the PET & CT scans to tell us exactly what we are dealing with. That had really gotten me out of the Disney planning mood. We are actually visiting my folks in Panama City, FL right now and decided this morning to add a day onto our Disney trip!! So now we are staying 12/8-12/15 at AoA. Since we added a day this morning I was transfered over to make my ADR's, I was not ready for that!!! This is what I have so far. Just as a reminder it is myself (36), DH (36), Dad (71), Mom (65), DD (3), DS (2). The kids will actually be 4 & 3 when we are there.

12/8- 2:00 T-Rex cafe
Dinner ?

12/9- Lunch Backlot Express
4:35 Sci Fi

12/10- Lunch Flame Tree
Dinner?

12/11- MVMCP
4:05 Crystal Palace

12/12- 9:40 BBB
11:50 CRT
6:00 1900 Park Fare (hoping for BoG)
May try to book 9:00 carriage ride at POR

4:30 San Angel Inn (not happy with these times and not sure about CP)

We are really trying to do alot in this trip b/c Dad's cancer is super aggressive due to Agent Orange exposure during the Vietnam War and this may the only time we get to all go together. I'm open for any suggestions or thoughts since I've had so much on my mind lately!

sorry to hear what you are going through, I only hope that as a family you are able to find the strength to get through this together as best you can.

Your head must be swirling trying to sort out your ADRs aswell - they look fine to me, the one you are not happy with you may have better luck booking that after the CP packages have been released, I know I couldn't book my Epcot dinners yesterday because of that.

I am so very sorry about your Dad. I will keep him in my thoughts and hope for you and your family the best of outcomes.

I got 2 more of my ADR's made today!

CRT (done online at 6:50 am--no problemo!) 6:45pm 12/9. We will attend MVMCP afterwards.

BBB 8:10am 12/9. Called in. Holy moley, that Cast Member talked fast!

She was also able to add a celebration onto the CRT dinner, because I didn't see a place to do that online. I asked her about adding on the Her Royal Highness Package (cake, tiara, balloon), and she said I should do that now. I'm not so sure. I'm afraid my request might get lost in the shuffle. I think I'll go ask Lurky Loo over at the Cake Thread chat.

My ADR day is next Monday and I have changed the plan so many times. DH was going through it with me last night and we made some more changes. He said I should stop being so obsessed. I said I need to get the ADRs made and then maybe I will be less obsessed for a while. We all know it's not really true, but it made him happy.

Can you get CRT any earlier? Just my opinion here, but you won't be finished dinner until 8 or later and the party will be well under way by that time. Party time is premium $, I personally would not spend any of it at a restaurant. If you want any of the special photo ops (dwarfs, princesses with their princes) the best bet is to be in line around 6. Again, just my opinion.

Just saw that my Southwest bonus points are posted so I can book my FREE flights tonight!!!! And I called to add a night to our trip because the flight times were better. So excited!!!!! I didnt have a pin code, but I had a 20% off room that I used months ago when I first booked our room. Since we are going so close to Christmas, I am guessing I won't be getting anything better. So it's all booked...now to pay for it.

If anyone needs to fly somewhere b/t aug 13 thru nov 14th southwest has there $39/$99/$139 fall fares going on thru this thursday. Of course that doesn't help us who are looking for dec flights but its a good deal if you need to fly.
