**December 2012 Roll Call** Holidays, FLE Opening & MVMCP!! A very, merry thread!

When you get a chance, please change my arrival date to Dec 13. I just added a day to our vacation!

I made all my ADRs this morning! It was worth the early wake-up even though we are on vacation now!

My DVC confirmation number worked, in case anyone is worried about that.

This is what I got:

12/8: arrival day, no TS reservation this day
12/9: CRT at 8:10am
12/10: Biergarten at 12:25 (the band usually comes on at 1:15)
12/11: Tusker House at 8am
12/11: The Plaza at 4:20 (MVMCP this night)
12/12: Jiko at 9pm - date night with DH, my mom watches the kids
12/13: Via Napoli at 2pm (will book Candlelight Processional this day, hopefully)
12/14: LTT at 11:30, hoping for BoG!
12/15: Chef Mickey at 9am, departure day

I was up and at 'em this morning too. Snagged all the ADRs I had planned. I'm so excited. My biggies were CRT and CP. We may be going overboard, but we have 4 character meals planned. I think my kids will enjoy them all so it's probably worth it.

Here's my ADR's so far:

12/7 11:30am Tutto Italia
12/8 9:30am Tusker House Restaurant
12/9 9:30am Kona Cafe
12/9 4:30pm The Crystal Palace
12/10 11:30am Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant
12/10 6:30pm Whispering Canyon Cafe

And I just added Akershus for 8:30am on 12/11 (this one may be veto'd)

I'll let everyone know how the second 1/2 will go. More importantly, I'll let everyone know the in-laws' reaction to my "whatever you book will be fine" reaction when I tell them the ADR's.

Hey don't let them veto Akershus. When I make ADR's on Wednesday, We are doing breakfast on the 11th there too. Keeping my fingers crossed there are still openings. I was hoping for something between 8-8:30.

Bummer! So I wonder if it's even worth it for me to get up early tomorrow to book that.

Still catching up, so I don't know if you nailed the ADR or not. But I kinda look at it like a blessing in disguise. This way, we get to see at least 1 rope drop. Then when we get inside, BDLsgal, SIL & LIL head to Tusker house, I take their tix and get our FP for EE. and then make my way to breakfast.

Well, my first try at making ADR's was a bust! There are no available Tusker House breakfast times for a party of 9 on 12/8. I don't know what the chances are of that opening up, but I guess I can keep trying. That was a waste of an early alarm.

I'm caught up now. I'm sorry MyQtz0205...

But not all hope is lost. Call the dining line, cuz I don't think you'd be able to do it online. See if you can book a table for 4 and a table for 5 (or some other math equation that = 9). You may start 15 min apart. But you'll be in the same place at the same time and get that group pic with Donald.

Another solution, have another adult in your group make a res. Same scenario. Between the 2 of you, you can get 4&5, 3&6, 2&7...

Yes, online opens at 6am eastern, phone line opens at 7am eastern.

You are correct. It was super easy doing them online. I did everything online except Pirates League and Harmony Barber Shop. But by the time I placed all my ADRS online, I only needed to wait about 15 min to call in and make those ressies.

12/10 - 8:10 Crystal Palace
12/13 - 9:45 Akershus

We're super excited! Just waiting on the Pirate Bayou Cruise to open up so we can book passage for our little pirate

If they are having fun and not super tired we will do all CS in EPCOT this day. if in the afternoon they are tired we will head back to POFQ early to rest then see if we can get into Boatwrights.
12/14 BBB @ 9 am and CRT dinner @ 4 pm.
12/15 Departure day DTD CS for lunch.

We are so excited and happy and feel a teensy bit closer to the magic of Disney!!!! 180 days!!!!!!

We will be seeing Epcot Illuminations our arrival night 12/7, also be in Epcot on 12/10 - the park 'closes' at 9.30, the start time of Illuminations ... is that when the rides close or will we have the chance to ride a couple while the show is on?

On the 7th, it won't be an issue. Dec. is the PM EMH for EPCOT. People staying on site get the 3hr bonus after the closing time. This is what we did last time. We saw Illuminations and then kept on getting back in line for TT and M:S over and over.

I know it's your arrival day, but it might be worth thinking about.

Nice list . I kept going back and forth between LTT and CP for our MVMCP night. In the end, I had to make sure the in-laws get to see Pohh, Tigger and Eyore. And because, it's closer to the front of the park, we can take our time walking up Main St. after the 4pm hard ticket time.

And my compliments on getting BBB and CRT on the same day. That will be really special for the little ones.

I got a hypothetical for anyone that wants to answer... Say I can get a Be Our Guest ADR, would you trade CP and all that goes with it, for BOG on a MVMCP night?

We will be going Nov 29th-Dec 8th. We will be taking 2 days to see the Xmas decos at the resorts and spending a little more time at DTD since we never seem to have enough of it!!! Can't wait to see the Candlelight Processional and are going to the MVMCP too!

I GOT IT!

I called, and I actually said party of 9, and they gave me TWO choices, 8:05 or 8:20! I took 8:20. They did say that our party may not be seated together, but we had that issue at CRT last time, and they at least sat our tables next to each other. I ended up being transferred to a CM because my cc wouldn't go through, and she suggested I call her everyday instead of doing online reservations, since our party is so large.

When do they start running the Christmas parade and holiday wishes during MK normal hours??? My DSis and family are going 18-25 and her hubby said no to MVMCP and I told her she maybe be able to still catch those things.

After the last MVMCP of the year (Dec 21 this year). So, beginning on Dec 22 they would be able to see the Christmas parade during the day and holiday Wishes
