December 2012...Christmastime in WDW

Who's gearing up for ADR's in June? Where's everyone wanting to eat?
My for sure places I want to go are ( we are getting the Deluxe Dining Plan):
O'hana's
Cinderella's Royal table
Liberty Tavern
Akershus (celebrating daughter's 5th bday here)
Tuskers breakfast
Germany @epcot (not sure what is there, but it's a must for husband)
I'm also thinking about Boma's

Me! I can't wait to make my ADRs!!

My BIG "want" this trip is Be Our Guest. I've never made ADRs for a new restaurant though so I don't know how that works. It's supposed to maybe be open in December, but will they take ADRs in June? I don't know.

We LOVE O'hana's and will eat there again. Also love Beirgarten (that's the Germany restaurant, and my husband refuses to go to Epcot without eating there).

We've done Akershus a few times and really like it - your daughter will love it! When is her bday? My youngest's bday is December 20. She will turn 6 there this year, and the lucky lucky girl has also turned 3 and 5 while at Walt Disney World!!!

We tried 1900 Park Fare this last trip and LOVED it (has Cinderella, Prince Charming, the step mom, and the stepsisters - though they weren't able to be there and we got Ariel instead). We all loved it and will probably do that again.

I've never tried BOMA or Liberty Tavern, but would like to try both this trip. Somewhere else in Epcot. We've never eaten anywhere sit down in Epcot other than Beirgarten.

Yes Beirgarten, that's what my husband mentioned.

She will be turning 5 on the 12th while we are there. Her bday this year is 12-12-12. Love it!

Hhmm I'll have to keep an eye out for the be our quest info, that sounds fun too.

My DH and I will be at OKW from Dec. 1-10
First time in an OKW studio. I think I am excited.

Booked our reservation tonight for AoA from Dec 1-Dec 10. This will be our 3rd trip to WDW during the Xmas season. Best time of the year to go!!!

Nickle, Akerhaus was great and we did breakfast at O'hana and it was one of our favorite meals. We did breakfast and dinner at CRT (enjoyed both) and 1900 and that was good too.

Moozle, we too are hoping for be our guest. I really hope it's open and that we can get a ressie.

On our list is some favorites from our last trip -

O'hana, CRT, Rainforest, Tusker, Via Nap.

And some new -

Portabello, 50's prime, cali grill or citricos' (haven't decided yet), be our guest.

Haven't decided on the others yet. We do the DXDP so we usually do a TS Breakfast or early lunch and a dinner. I have all the dinners I have two breakfasts and one lunch, still need a couple more and haven't decided.

Hope you all have a great trip.

We tried 50's prime time for the first time this last trip and LOVED it...I think we will definitely do that again also! I don't know anything about Citricos ... I need to go look that one up.

I'm on board as well!
We had such a magically awesome trip lat week, we decided to do it again next year!
Planning on December 8-15, 2012, staying at ASMo in 2 rooms!

Another Virginian joining in. We'll actually fly in on the 7th, but our first park day will be the 8th. To make up for that, we won't fly home until the 15th. :cool1: We're renting a house with my in-laws.

We did F&W/MNSSHP on our last trip. This will be our first time seeing Disney at Christmas time.:santa:

We're cruising on the Fantasy Dec.15th-22nd and then staying at WDW Dec. 22nd-26th. Spending my birthday (Dec. 23rd) at the Magic Kingdom! We've actually been at WDW for Christmas 5 times. Last year was the first time since 2006 that we weren't there for Christmas and boy did we really miss not being there! Just have to decided which resort and then hopefully we'll get lucky and get some type of discount. I know it's a slim chance with our check in date, but maybe we can get the tail-end of a discount. Fingers crossed!

Right now my absolute musts for dining will be.

1. O'hanas
2. Biergarden
3. Kona Cafe for breakfast. I have to have some Tonga Toast.

I also want to try something new not exactly sure yet. Can't wait to start making reservations!!

I wanna join the fun! We'll be at BCV December 2-8...only 240 more days. :sad2: We're celebrating my 30th birthday. Very exciting!

Who's gearing up for ADR's in June? Where's everyone wanting to eat?

Me!!!! I'm sad and have a countdown for that, too...only 60 more days! :thumbsup2 Here's our tentative list:

Cape May Cafe (dinner) -- Our favorite!
Tusker House (breakfast)
Le Cellier (lunch)
Be Our Guest (dinner) -- if it's open ::fingers crossed::
Tutto Italia (dinner) -- Never tried it, but we HATED Via Napoli so hoping for better results this time!

Not sure on our final choice (or final two if Be Our Guest isn't open), here's what we're considering:
Coral Reef (dinner)
Crystal Palace (breakfast)
Boma (dinner)
Mama Melrose (dinner)

Add me to the list! I was having the worst day today. Until I got home, checked my email and there was a pin code waiting for me!:banana::banana:

DH and I had been talking for a few months about going. We were holding off on booking since we hoped we'd get a pin code. And today was my lucky day.

We will be there 12-8-12/17.

I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight. :dance3:

Well, looks like I'm eating my words. Thanks to Disney sending me a 30% off room PIN, looks like we're going back to Disney this year after all. This will be our 1st time staying at AKL (Dec 2-7). We love Disney in December!!!

Hi Everyone!
I am so excited to finally be joined by fellow Mickey lovers! I am brand new to this community and I just can't hold in my excitement any longer, I must share with others.......We will be arriving December 8th at Art of Animation, super excited for our Little Mermaid room and we will be leaving December 15th! The best part.........My birthday is December 12th! WOO HOO! Cannot wait, first time that me and the fam will experience the big WDW at Christmastime. I hope to get lots of tips and keep your fingers crossed for free dining! I cannot wait to officially meet all of you!

Scotty, super jealous about the whole pin thing! I must officially be on the NO-PIN list! Have fun!

We will be visiting in December 2012 too!!! Can't wait! We stayed in Dec 2010 at Fort Wilderness (which was amazing), but with extended family and 3 kids, we are going to try our hand at OKW this time!! I cannot wait! My mom's birthday is in November and my son's is in December, so we will have a lot to celebrate!!

Finally booked last night! WL Woods View Dec 2-7. So happy to receive an email with a PIN and saved $565 :cool1: I was not going to book until I got a worthwhile pin or a good promotional offer.

I am happy to say that we are planning to head to WDW from 12/4 to 12/8 of this year for our 10 YEAR wedding anniversary. DH and I will be heading to the world alone!! All though our boys are not going to be happy that they won't be coming along on this trip. We have not booked yet, I am hoping to get a good pin code (been on the wdw site and saving vacations...) before we book our reservation. Right now we are looking to stay at POP (a first for us) and having the DDP. Our anniversary is 12/7 and we are trying to figure out where to have a NICE dinner that night. Looking forward to hearing everyone adventures as we get ready to head "home"

How does everyone keep getting PINs?? We always book using a travel agent so could that be why we never get emails with these discounts?? Bummed!!
