Hey guys we just called Disney earlier to (tentatively) book our Dec vacation. I of course asked for a PIN (we will cancel if we don't receive some kind of discount before the 45 day mark as Disney is starting to get a bit steep with prices as compared to previous years)...

The agent actually told me she won't even bother checking since she knows I won;t have any for my dates of travel as Disney has not sent out any PINS yet for Dec. Just wanted to share that little tidbit with the rest of us hoping/praying/wishing/begging to get some good news in our mail/e-mail. I hope she's right...we really could use some help...Good luck all!!

The pin I booked with (that has long since expired) was good for dates in December.... so while maybe new pins for december are not being issued... it is not totally true that Disney has not send out ANY pins for december.

We just booked a couple of weeks ago with a 30% pin that we received recently. We are going Dec 16-22 and staying at Carribean. I think we received the pin because we had saved some offers online. Our pin email said something to the effect of thank you for planning a vacation...now let us do our part...here is 30% offf.

I finally received the 30% off room PIN code email last night! Good Dec 1-22 at values, mods and only WL and AKL for deluxe.

To those that have received this email, can you post the final rates you received for your stay? Were you able to add on the tickets and/or dining plan and keep that rate?

We have 10 pp (6 adult, 2 jr, 2 child) in our party and will need 3 rooms. I am curious if I will be able to book everybody with our PIN?

I think it would be worth it to continue to call back... we got a December pin back in January, mailed to our home, for 25 - 40% off (dependent upon where we chose to stay) through Dec. 24, 2011. There were the usual blackout dates in there but it included dates from Feb - December for the year of 2011. The expiration date for booking was end of Feb I believe. I haven't seen a public promotion yet but definitely some PINS were issued.

Keep trying and I hope it happens for everyone!!

She told me offers for Dec were sent out back in Jan and Feb (which obviously a bunch of you have received according to your posts) and have expired by now. She was basically saying no new wave of Dec PINS have been sent out yet since that initial phase a few months ago.

Whether she knows what she's talkin about, your guess is as good as mine. But I will continue to call and keep an eye out. Thanks for the responses

Whats the low down with these PINs everyone is talking about? I have a room booked at POP for Dec 6 thru the 12th at the standard rate and would love to save a little money any way I can. Is this the same as Disney releasing discounts for Florida residents on hotels like they have now?

I haven't received any email from Disney yet. We did have the 30% off room PIN code, but it was only for the summer and not December. I'm really hoping to receive another PIN code soon.

Since we are having my mother and brother coming along I have the max allowed of saved vacations. Here's hoping for some to come our way!

Btw, does anyone know if a family only gets one PIN code at a time? Has anyone had more than one offer available?

I got a pin for a December stay (20% off) on May 21st. So, keep on checking they are sending them out.

Pin codes are discounts that Disney sends out. They seem to be pretty random. Sometimes through e-mail and sometimes through the regular mail. There are numerous thoughts on how to get a pin. I was successful by creating a userid on their website and booking several reservations and then saving them. I got a pin about a week after doing that.

I just went in (again) and saved a trip. We're hoping to do a land/Sea...at least that is what it used to be called. Now I guess it is a post Cruise.
So I saved both the Poly and the Cruise.

We received a PIN for Dec. 2011 in March 2010. We are booked at POR Dec. 16-25, 2011 at 30% off. We had to use the PIn by April 2010.

I called Disney last month and had a 20% off pin as well for stays in the month of December. I haven't booked with it. I was trying to go in and save other trip dates as I am flexible. I am hoping to get a better offer. Does anyone know if you can get a better pin if you don't take advantage of the offer you have?

Does anyone know if there are any benefits to having a Disney Visa Card as far as discounts go? I know you have six months no interest to pay it off, I just wondered about any other perks. I don't use CC and didn't want to open up an acct unless the perks were just to good to pass up.

I would love to have a pin, I keep getting e-mails for August and Sept. I would prefer a Military room rate discount. We are currently booked at SoG, but would love to start out at Pop, then move over to SoG, but need a pin or even free dining or I will just stay where I am.

Seriously, this is the first time I haven't planned really early for out our annual trip. We've always taken advantage of the "Hurricainne Season" offers but can't go that early this year. REALLY looking forward to holiday season if we can. Has anyone heard any rumors????

A lot of us are hoping so but nope, no rumors as of yet. Last year it was mid-July before it was announced/released. The year before that it was August. I'm still holding out hope but went ahead & planned my ADRs, etc. & got them booked! I'm actually all planned out except my airfare & adding a discount of some type!

From your mouth to Mickeys ears!!!! I am having withdrawal symptoms due to not having my Dec. trip booked. It comes down to no free dining in Dec.=no trip to WDW this year. Just can't swing it.
