Do you think it would be better to book Nov 30 - Dec 10 or Dec 1 - Dec 10. We are hoping for a free dining code and were wondering which would us a better chance of being able to book with free dining.

I thought that free dining was not being done through December anymore I could be wrong on that (most likely I am though).

We're also going to be down there the same days. Only we are trying to decide whether or not to go December 2 through the 10th or the 11th or go from December 2 - 10th. We may choose the latter b/c the return airfare is more expensive on Sundays if we were to go on our original dates.

I'm hoping there will be pin codes available. I don't know if Disney will still have them with Pop Warner that week or if that will be considered a black out week.

Disney keeps saying they are cutting back on discounts, but there is nothing in the economic outlook in this country to support that approach from them yet. With the increasing price of gas and airfare, I'd say it will be more necessary than ever for them to offer some deals. Never mind the fact that resort rates are higher than before. Early December used to be the least expensive time to go, now it's a little higher.

Watch for deals sometime this month or next. I'd lay good money on there being something, more than likely free dining.

I think the Disney marketing folks would like people to book, then go on with life hoping you won't see the codes they announce later. But you should stay tuned here.........

I'm hoping that an email will be coming out soon as we really could use a discount. We're planning on staying at CBR and this will my first time (as well as DS8's) staying in a moderate. Last time DH stayed at CBR it was October 2006 and he paid $135/night.

I'm talking about general public offerings. PIN Codes really aren't on my radar screen at all since I'm official president of the "NO PIN" club.

I'm also in the waiting-for-a-Dec-code to come out club! We are booked at POFQ, but for the right code I'd look at changing to at least a split stay at a Deluxe.

ADRs are due right around the corner..not sure what to do about bookings, seeing how CP packages are not out yet. Do you book a "backup" plan so you have something in case you can't get a CP later?

My backup will be a lunch ADR at Le Cellier that will be cancelled when the CP packages come out. That way if something happens & I can't get one, I'll still have a decent lunch that day!

Well, I'd love to have you....... but since you KNOW what a PIN looks like, you technically don't qualify! But you can attend the meetings. Maybe we'll have you as a guest lecturer......

That works!! I'll give everyone an idea of what to look for & how to get your hopes dashed because they aren't nice enough to send a pin for when you are actually going......

Hence why we're all on the Dec. Code Watch together, hehe. I have some monopoly money though! We can use that!!
