I read a really great review for Tutto Italia in Epcot tonight (complete with photos). Since you don't seem to have anything of the Italian flair, that might be a nice option for you. Or you might consider something fun from over at Poly - like Ohana's. My kids also enjoyed Whispering Canyon, but I don't think I would end my vacation on that - just not exciting enough for me. We are on DxDDP, and made all of our ADRs today as well through IPO - I listed them below if you'd like to see where we are going. We do have a few date nights thrown in - so some of our nicer dinners are a bit later and California Grill coordinated with wishes which was really nice.

Saturday November 27 - Late arrival, No ADRs
11/28: Lunch: Le Cellier, Dinner: Ohana
11/29: DS's 7th Birthday Celebration Day,
Breakfast: Chef Mickey's, Lunch: Grand Floridian Cafe, Dinner: Cinderella's Royal Table (times w/Wishes to follow)
11/30: Breakfast: Donald's Safari, Lunch: Sanaa, Dinner: Kouzzina (Kid's Nite Out & CS for the kids)
12/1: Lunch: Biergarten, 4:30, DiveQuest, Dinner: Jiko (Kid's Nite Out & Room Service for the kids)
12/2: Breakfast: Crystal Palace, Dinner: Whispering Canyon Cafe, 7PM - MVMCP
12/3: Lunch: Big River if we can't get in Beaches & Cream, Dinner: California Grill/Wishes (Kid's Nite Out & CS for the kids)
12/4: Lunch: Chefs de France, Dinner: The Wave, Pirates & Pals Voyage
12/5: Lunch: Sci-Fi Dine-in, Dinner: Brown Derby
12/6: Lunch: 12pm, Liberty Tree, Dinner: 6pm, Boma
transfer from YC to AKL
12/7: Check-out late morning - No ADRs scheduled for breakfast - Boma?

*We may change Kouzzina to Tutto - I need to call in the morning, to see if we can still switch those.

I was thinking of Tutto Italia, but my only issue is that i dont have park hopper tickets and we have plans to visit EPCOT on our 3rd day for Le Cellier Steakhouse . I was thinking more of a resort restaurant. All my ADRS are for dinner by the way.

Then something at Poly would work for you. You might want to give it a try, and if you can coordinate your time with either the Torch Lighting ceremony, or wishes on the beach and the electric water pageant afterwards - it makes it all the more magical :thumbsup2

What do you think of Ohana?

It is going to be our first, but we have some friends locally that have gone and highly recommended it. I've also read great reviews here on the board. I think it would be a solid win for you given all that I've read. We put it on the front end of our vacation, because it was one of the first new things we wanted to experience. We coupled it that day with our favorite repeat, Le Cellier - hoping for a win-win combination of old and new.

Originally has a reservation at AKV for 12/23 - 1/2, but just modified it the other day. Now we are doing OKW 12/18 - 12/23 then moving to AKV until the 29th.

We've been during December twice in the past, but never during the actual holiday. I can't wait.

I had the 30% off pin for my room for dec 4 - 11 and called a couple weeks ago trying to change the dates. After hearing stories, started to get nervous about Pop at POR. They didn't have any openings the new week I wanted :( So today I got the monster mailer and I changed my dates to the dates I wanted, Nov 28 - Dec 4th. :cool1: More money off and no cheers in the bus line  So I am done wishing for free dining. I am much better off this way as we don't need park tickets and I love hunting for bargains and coupons anyway. I have a renewed excitement today :cool1:

Were heading down nov.28 to dec. 12 .

Gonna be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge! Its gonna be a fun trip cause its my DGF's moms first trip, one of my good friends is accompanying us, and our DS Sawyers first trip since he was "concieved" at the AKL back in December 2008.

Oh yeah plus were bringing my DGF's 16 year old brother with us so he can sit around and be grumpy the whole trip. WOuldnt want our fun levels getting out of control.

AKL IPO got all my ADR's made for me yesterday and they were all right day right time except for California Grill which was not available the day I requested. They switched it to the next day and a bit later so we will be able to watch the MVMCP fireworks while we eat, this is my Dad's 60th birthday dinner so I want it to be special.

11/30: Lunch at 50's Primetime 11:40
12/1: Dinner at Boma 7:55
12/2: Dinner at California Grill 7:40
12/3: Breakfast at Crystal Palace 8:10 and Dinner at Whispering Canyon 8:00
12/4: Dinner at Tutto Italia 6:45
12/5: Dinner at Kona Cafe 8:00
12/7: Dinner at Yak and Yeti 4:00

Getting so excited, now just waitng for the 15th so I can see what Southwest's schedule and prices look like so I know when we will be arriving/departing.

have you considered flying fish on the boardwalk? if you're at dhs or epcot it's a short walk over. we had a great meal with great service there december 09 and are going back again this december. it's usually easy to get adrs since it's outside the theme parks. if you're by mk maybe consider narcoossee's or citricos at the gf or ohana's at poly. it's just a quick trip on the monorail.

We will see you at OKW!! We are booked there 18-26th!! I was trying to get BLT but no luck so we are in a 2bd at OKW instead. Still might call and see what else I can get to do a split stay if not we will be very happy at OKW and WDW! This is out 3rd Christmas at WDW. We normally like to get out of dodge as soon as Christmas is over. The first week will be very busy but very managable. After that its still do able but its not as managable. I love it though!

i just learned you can go on line today and make ADR's for 12/12. you can make them 190 days out, not 180, if you're staying on site.
