December 2009 Code Watch

I am so bummed I got a code but for our dates 12/05-12/13 are gone already! It was for free dining through visa...... I cant change times due to having airline tickets so bummed wonder if any other deals will come out....... bummed tink :tinker:

You have to let us know about the Disney Visa code offer, please, pretty please.

If it's not Disney Visa that made the offer, let us know, please. If Visa did make an offer you have to let us know more about it.

Please help us and spread some pixie dust our way with this info about a Disney Visa offer.

Those are the words of a desperate woman ;).

I'm kidding of course, heck desperate times take desperate measures. I went on the Disney Visa website myself and no such offer on there so, not sure.

So what kind of crowds and wait times do you think we can expect the first and second weeks of December?

pretty minimal by WDW standards. Pop Warner football/cheerleading tournament is the 2nd week, which brings the evening crowds up a bit, but the day is fine.

Expect MK headliner waits of about an hour at peak time, and EPCOT/DHS/AK headiners about 80 minute peak waits.

Arrive early, use FP's whenever possible and you will be fine. Early December is out FAVORITE time of year to visit!! :santa:

I got an email through my disney visa and it had free dining code for our family. Came through email from my disney chase visa

That's great news~! So do you think it was a code special code just for you guys or any chance it was a 3 letter code everyone's going to be able to use? :confused3

Thanks for the info!

I was playing around last night on the Disney website, saving various trip plans for early December just to compare prices...and this morning there was a Free Dining Pin code in my email! We have already booked the special $9.99 hotel rate offsite so I won't be using it but I want to wish everyone some pixie dust in getting their pin codes!!! :wizard:

I've messed with the site, used every email we have and still nothing :( I really need the PIN for December so we can change our Sept/Oct trip....oh well, maybe there is still time :)

We are going 12/17-12/24....booked at WL...doing the dining plan too...did it 2 times before and felt it was well worth it! Any discount codes yet???

:cool1: :surfweb: :yay:
Me DH DS(8)

Just in case it helps.....
I got a code today for the free dining package through Dec 17 in the e-mail, but apparently can't use it in combination with the military discount. Now I know! :confused3 Only since Monday did I start actively changing my WDW website profile, reserve packages online, etc.

One thing that I now remember was when I put a vacation package in my 'save' file on the WDW website, a popup came up asking if I had a minute to take a survey about why I hadn't booked. It asked my age, any kids, had I been there before, etc. and why I didn't book (about 15 possible answers). I checked 'waiting for lower price'. That was 2 days ago, and today I got the PIN.
Good luck!

The Comfort Inn Lake Buena Vista and three other hotels within the chain were running a 35th anniversary special for $9.99 the first night and $35 each night after. The special expired yesterday, I found it on the Budget Boards. I've never stayed offsite but with a savings of over $1000 I had to do it!

You're not alone. :)

We had a free dining Sept. trip booked through bounceback from last year.
Then we had relatives that wanted to join us, but can only go in Dec.
I had to cancel the Sept. trip, which was so hard because we've gone at that time for the last 4 years with free dining.

My Mom got a snail mail PIN, but she doesn't want to go.

I'm still being optimistic that there will be a Visa or general public offer if I don't get a PIN. I hope it comes out in time for you!

Me too, I've done the same and as for a popup survey, well I use to get it but not recently

I have been adjusting my online saved vacations as well and still no PIN. sigh....

Just want everyone to know what happened to me ....
I got a promo code through my disney visa for free dining when I called my AAA agent he called disney and they said it was sold out for my dates... 12/05/2009-12/13/2009 so I was bummed...... today he called me and said when he went in to office another client had gotten the promo code to so he called and she got it so he asked why I did not and so she entered my code again and it went through .... he asked why that happened and she said the other girl must have entered code in wrong with a typo.... so make sure if someone tells you it is sold out or no good that you confirm the numbers with them so anyway my story has a fairy tale ending we got free dining a savings of 660.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:dance3:
Also we had other friends and family members going a grand gathering and so he called back and they gave them the free dining too!!!!!!!!!Yipppee for pixie dust!!!!!!!!!!!! It paid to have a AAA agent he is the best! Just wanted you all to know so you dont get told NO and it is wrong that would have been a costly mistake !

I know you said you booked with AAA however, if you get a disney visa offer do you just call disney reservations?

Generally speaking, you just call Disney Reservations to use a PIN/code. Actually the PIN emails in the past had a specific number to call and it prompts you for your PIN #.

If you already have an existing res (like thru AAA or another TA), you'd need to call them to apply a PIN.

This is the only report I've heard of this this Disney Visa free dining code. :confused3 I don't get if it's a person-specific PIN or a Disney Visa code or what. The OP hasn't really posted much info about it, so I think its strange we've only heard about it from one person!

hi yes if you go through disney to book your trip that is who you call if you go through and agency you have to call them disney will not help you I found that out.

So do you think it was a family-specific PIN (like the 13 digit ones) or a 3 letter code like they use for other deals? :confused3

I haven't read about this anywhere else, so I'm hoping its going to be for all Disney Visa cardholders! :thumbsup2
