How did you get it? Did you get a pin or did you just call?

I called and said..."I was told that you could look up my account and see if there was a pin associated with our name/address" She said sure....
and sure enough the free dining came up! It was available the dates she gave me were october sometime..there was one week in Nov...sorry I dont' remember which one...cause I was waiting to hear DEC! Well then she said Dec 13th-17th arrival...well We arrive on the 13th...leave on 18th...and I guess u just have to have the later date as arrived by... so wahla...free dining! I hope it doesn't disappear..I already called back to double check that it was still there!

Called today and asked if they could check my account for a pin code. The CM said they can only look it up if you know the pin number. Explained I follow a chat board and know of many people who have called and found out they had pin codes. She said "don't know how they would look that up without a pin number".... guess I should just keep watching the mail

It is amazing...how none of them can say the same thing..... I would just keep calling and keep asking!

Well I called and got a nice male CM. He took the time to look under my name and without me asking he looked under my husbands but we had no such luck.

I had initially told him that we had "friends" who had called and found they had a pin code attached to their name. So afterward he told me my "friends" could book for me under their name because each party receiving a pin code can use it for up to 3 reservations. So, I guess now I can hope for a friend that trusts us to get the code.

The non-pin holding free dining peeps should rally together and have a pin pity party. We could all be miserable together while trying to suppress our envy.

i called earlier and the CM was very nice about it and checked for me, no luck but she also said that since I am going in December to watch for specials available to the public starting in Aug and to not be suprised if they offer Free Dining again. so I guess thats good news

I've happy for you all that are getting free dining in december. The only thing is that it's going to be more difficult for others like me to book ADR's with people booking free dining. I'll just have to be on the internet and phone early in the morning to get the places we want.

I read on here somewhere where someone put a saved offer in their My Disney Vacation on Disney's site, so I did this a couple of days ago and low and behold two days later I got a free dining pin in my inbox.

I actually had already received this offer a couple of weeks ago, but this was an entirely new email, so try this if you want a code.

Adding: We are going mid-December and that is when the pin was for, so use your actual dates when making the saved vacation offer.

I called to ask about a trip for Dec.17-25. I was quoted a trip with dining when I showed reluctance to book the operator offer me free dining. I book right then my trip went from 4800.00 to 3200.00. The free dining sure helps a family of 5.

I totally agree! All three of my kids count as adults - so free dining is saving us about $1700!!!

I'm thinking of calling and cancelling our Sept/Oct trip in hopes that they'll come out with a FD code in December for us. We got one last month through my husbands email....but it expired already I've tried everything to see if we'd get another one but no luck. I might call today and just check to see if I can get a CM that'll check for me.

Booked Poly...Nov 27 to Dec 6, Including MVMCP (never been to that, excited!) and a week later I got the free dining PIN from Nov 29 to Dec 13. So a quick call and we are Deluxe Dining at a HUGE discount! So thrilled! With the cost of feeding 6, it is a huge help, especially with all the 2 tbl service meals I am hoping to get.

A CM told me she wouldn't be at all surprised if they open those Dates to all, they did last year.

I'm sorry! I'm sure you have, but check your spam. Check the email you have saved in your profile info on the Disney site too. I use several different emails, so just make sure that's all in order. Other than that, I don't know! So random isn't it?

Thanks, I did check everything and every email address too. I get every other Disney emailing just no pin codes for me so far.

I used the saved vacations tip at disneydestinations.com and it worked for me, too. I did not ever get the email. I checked all my spam folders, etc. I called central reservations and got a friendly CM who noticed I had been sent a code and made it work for us!!!

I was always on the "why not me side of this discussion before"!

Well, I know you can add the dining plan to a land/sea, so I don't know why it WOULD NOT work....give them a call and ask!

Congrats on the PIN...I'm still waiting for a code/PIN/discount that I can use!!!

No Free Dining cannot be applied to a land/sea package. You would have to separate the sea portion. I would see if FD is available first for your hotel choice, book the fd, and send the deposit. Then call DCL and change your package to cruise only.
I did this for our Sept trip. We had land/sea, changed it by separating the two to get FD, then when the 38% discount on deluxe came out, I dropped FD and booked room only.
Now I have a sea vacation and a land vacation booked separately.
I still have the DCL transfers from hotel to port booked with DCL. Rental car for port to DTD to airport.
