Well, I'm glad to have others to talk about our December trips with and maybe I'll see some of y'all there ...

There actually is an official Dec thread... I just found it today!!!!! It's on the Theme Park Strategies Board, in the section under Doing the Happy Dance....Ya'll should all come over there....someone just started the List with all our names, Dates and resorts!!

Less than 4.5 months to go. This will be an adult only trip - just me and my sister.
I am so looking forward to my December trip. I love Christmastime, but I especially love Christmastime in Disney!!!

We learned this weekend that the in-laws want to go in May 2010. I just got back in June. That will be 3 trips in a year. I have never done that before - I feel totally blessed. :

going for the first time in dec. we are staying CL at GF. Does anyone have a temporary itinerary yet? just want to make sure that i dpnt forget anything...TIA...

Did anyone book for Free Dining in Dec.? We did, we are going to be there Dec. 2 thru 9th. This is our second Free Dining trip this year, we are also going in Aug. We are celebrating both DDs birthdays this year!!!!

DH booked today for 12/11-12/15 at the BC thanks to the code. It'll be 5-year old DS's 3rd trip and 1-year old DD's 1st trip! We love WDW in December!

We just booked our Christmas trip at AKL, today, for Dec. 17-27. We got free dining, for the entire trip I'm in full planning mode, again.

We are going Dec 10-15. It will be me, dh, DD (celebrating her 20th) her son will be 15months, and DD 18. We are really getting excited and are planning things out. Just started as we decided to take advantage of the FD.

We were just there this past May for our 23rd anniversary......but by the beginning of 2010 we will have 2 of our sons leaving the nest..one to the Army and one to the NASCAR Inst...moving to NC...so we thought lets surprise the 4 guys with one last family trip....we go down to WDW all the time but the 2 older ones, due to work and school havent been down since 2000...so we went ahead and booked AKL for Nov 27th -Dec 5th! We LOVE Christmas down there and so excited to be able to celebrate it with all 4 of our sons this yr before they go off and follow their dreams!

I just booked outer lodge CL at GF for Dec 16 to 26. Haven't done that before, although I've stayed at the GF twice.

I am going to look into some dining, but really just relaxing at the resort a lot! The discount was amazing with the fall promo (except rack for the last night, argh.)

I've already posted on similar threads, but wanted to see how far along our countdown is. We will be arriving the same day as the OP, but will be leaving on the 4th. First time at Polynesian and first time going during the Christmas Holiday.
We have a wonderful TA thru AAA who helps us out and although we didn't get free dining we did get a generous discount. We have our tickets already for the MVMCP and just need to get our ADR's and the Candlight Processional @ dining booked.
Usually we worry about hurricanes, now we worry about blizzards. Hopefully we will luck out as the last time we went Aug. 2004 we just missed hurricane Charlie.

we did, we did! We are going next week for 10 days free dining and I also booked a December trip with Free dining (Dec 13-18th) as a surprise to the kids. They have no idea...And neither does my husband for that matter. It is my big Christmas gift to all of them. I can't wait!!!!!!

We are going the 11-16th staying at the AKL. It will be me, my parents (their first time) and my sister (her second- I took her in May). We are all pretty excited maybe me more so because I do all the planning- they just have to show up to the places I tell them to-lol. Counting down the days till I can make ADRs and until the Calendars come out!
