December 2009~ Am I the only crazy one planning already?

I didn't see anyone saying they were going in December. I know it is 10 1/2 months away but I can't help myself. It has already been over a year since we've gone and I am craving Disney. I miss it so much and can't wait to be back. So excited that we are going back this year to see Disney in all it's Christmas glory for the first time.

If you are thinking of going or planning on going in December please join me in this loooong countdown and maybe we can make it seem a little shorter.

We will be there the 13th through the 20th. There is a Dec 2009 thread somewhere out there with tons of people on board with us.

Myself, my sister and our niece will be going Nov. 27-Dec. 4, 2009. My sister got our reservations in August to stay at the Polynesian and we booked our airfare about a month ago.
We both live in Montana, and our niece lives in Michigan so she will need to make her own airline reservations.
This will be our first time to go to WDW during the winter season. Usually we go during the summer. We are so looking forward to seeing the Christmas decorations and going to the other festivities.
My sister is an excellent planner.

We are hoping to go from the 25th to the 30th - our girls are grown and will spend the rest of the holiday with boyfriends and their families. This will be my first Christmas w/out my Mom and Dad - we lost Dad three years ago, and Mom last month, so DH thought it would be good to see Disney at Christmas to help with missing them. Isn't he sweet? Anyhoo - keep your fingers crossed for us - I will know by 4/1 if it will happen!

I am hoping that Disney unveils the MVMCP dates in May.. I believe that is when they have done it in the past.

We are headed to Beach Club Dec 20 - 27th... First time in December, first time at Christmas! We will miss MVMCP, but, there will be plenty of festivities I am sure... don't know what to expect!!! Can't wait!

I just booked us for Dec. 3-6 at Animal Kingdom Lodge (a surprise trip for DS11) I'm soooo excited that I can't even sleep. Would you believe that we were just there in January! I'm not telling friends and family for awhile because they will think that I have some sort of disorder (I guess I do)...they just don't get it!

Whatever disorder you have, we have it too!!! We were just there in January too!! We don't even have to tell anyone where we're going, they know!! Our kids know we're going, but they don't know when or any details. DD8 said she wants us to surprise her this time, because she heard (from my DISboard chattering) that other people surprised their kids. We went on a Disney cruise and they offered a bounceback for a 3 day for $99 per person, so we wanted to take advantage of that deal. Then we got the hotel with the military discount through my MIL. It's going to be so much fun to see everything decorated for Christmas!!!

We will be there Dec 20-27. I am so excited; I already have two mini m&m tubes filled with quarters and pennies for pressed pennies for my kids. (That is kind of sad, isn't it) The money for the trip is set aside and ready to be paid off later, so now I am focusing on all the little things!

Just had to change our dates because our bounceback cruise wasn't available for 12/3. Now we're going 12/6 - 12/10 at BLT and then the 3 day Wonder cruise!! I have to wait a whole extra week!
BUT - in case anyone is into the space program - I just found out there is a shuttle launch scheduled for 12/10 (the day we go on the cruise!). My DH is way excited!
