December 2008 Code Watch

The Magic Kingdom Club ended Dec 31 2000. Disney did put another club in place calling it the Disney Club, it was $40.00 and did not live long. They did offer package discounts but not as nice as the MKC.

I was pretty sure though that what i had signed up for was the Magic Kingdom club and I think I did it in November. Our trip was in early February and I know I booked in the beginnig of December.

We are staying at WL from Dec 7-13:yay: We can only fit in deluxe room club level, sooo I am desperately seeking a code for our dates:worship:

Hello Fellow Disney lovers,
Anyone going during those times? Just curious.

Going Nov 30-Dec 7th.
Waiting for AP rates to come out and then we"ll decide on a resort based on what's available.
It's Disney-It's Christmas-It's all good !!!:santa:

First...Congrats on wedding. My wife and I got married at Sunset Pointe. You'll love the Disney Weddings

I have a couple of questions...

1. When do these codes usually come out?
2. Do you have to be a member of AAA to use them?
3. Are they available for Pop Century?
4. If you have already made your reservation can you still use a code?

Thank You. ;)

Hi...I'll take a shot at this someone correct me if I'm wrong on anything.:)

1) Historically these codes have come out in mid to late August
2) The codes released by Disney are released in categories Disney Visa holders are usually first, then either AP or General Public. AAA has their own rates...an AAA rate will not be better than a special released by Disney
3) Yes, usually all Disney resorts including Pop Century are included in the special however the number of rooms at each resort is limited so book early for the best choice of resorts.
4) Yes, if the special is available for the resort and the time period that you are traveling you can apply the code to your existing reservation. You may have to change room categories (Pref vs Std) though.

Hope this helps!!

You're welcome...I'm glad I could answer some of your questions.

Yes, they will refund the difference in the same manner that it was originally paid. For example if you paid by credit card you will get a refund on your card. If you paid by check then you will get a check for your refund.

Just checked the lists and we are not on them:confused3

MVMCP on 12/9
